Pixar collection

I seriously love all of your guy’s Pixar collections so much!!! Superfans!

Thanks, Kenzie. (Assuming you were talking to me, too.)

Yep, both of you.

Thanks!

Dillinger, great collection! You’re my hero 8D

Okay…quick collection updates:

I met an animator named Michael Comet last spring and so I got a private tour of Pixar this year because of it. From the gift shop, I got:

-a Brave poster
-an exclusive For The Birds coaster
-2 stickers
-a stainless steel travel cup
-a mug (I’m sharing it with my mom)
-my very first Pixar-themed T-shirt

Also, I went to Disneyland and collected some pins:

-the Luxo lamp
-a grape soda badge
-EVE and WALL-E

I also got:

-a Wilderness Explorer sticker
-a souvenir coin with one of the Toy Story aliens on it
-a set of Brave activity cards (I’m using them as postcards
-3 postcards: Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Cars

And when I got home from the trip, I collected from my postcard calendar:

-Up bookmarks

Last week’s calendar punch-out was:

-a Monsters, Inc. door hanger

I can’t wait to get me a Hallmark ornament and some more of that Brave merchandise.

Yep, that’s my update.

@evspixarfan, nice! What color of shirt?

It was green, and it says:

Pixar Animation Studios

Perhaps I could wear those pins every time I’m wearing that shirt?

Oh, and as for everyone on these forums here, I have an announcement:

Someday, I’m going to have a dream house with every room that’s themed-just like the people at Pixar who have themed offices. And it all includes-and comes with-my very own Pixar-themed room, where I can keep my Pixar collections. Or, should I do Pixar-themed rooms for each movie? I mean, it’s not just Pixar that’s in my life right now. But still…oh, if only my dream house would have every room that’s themed-and where everything is categorized. It was my meeting Michael Comet and then his giving me a private tour of the Pixar studio itself that inspired me to want a house where every room is themed. You know why? Because the people at Pixar have themed offices!

Sorry if I posted this too long…

They did make a green one…I have the black one from WDW.I’m guessing Michael Comet forks for Pixar. How’d you meet him?

He was invited by his brother, Noah, to come over to Ohio and speak to some college students at the Kehoe Center in Shelby. He spoke while showing the animation process for the movie Up. After that, I got my picture taken with him (he’s a little shorter than me in height). I also got his signature in one of my Pixar books: The Art of Pixar. Yes, I did meet him in person, and that’s how I got into a private tour of Pixar!

That means I’ve just met him a while back-in person. And so the trip to California had to be a “now or never” kind of trip.

I love collecting the Pixar stuff…

I haven’t posted pictures of mine because a lot is put away.

Whoa… these are seriously awesome Pixar collections! I’m astounded at how much you guys have been able to come across! I can’t wait to post pics of my somewhat small collection, but I’m going to wait until after my birthday next month, because I made sure to give out Pixar-related hints!
And evspixarfan2012 and modeltrainman, you guys are my Pixar-collecting heroes! The commitment and passion you put into this obsession is incredible! Of course, everyone’s collection is fantastic!

Just a few weeks ago, I signed up for Disney Movie Rewards, and then used my points to get a double-sided Up poster.

Which poster is it, do you have a picture? And tell me more about the Disney Movie Rewards program!

^DMR is the best! I have three awesome Pixar goodies from them! A totally legit Ellie Badge pin, a Cars 2 theatrical poster, and most recently, a beautiful Finding Nemo porcelain figurine! Joining is free, and all you have to do is buy or go see Disney movies and collect the points!
And I do realize I still haven’t posted my most recent collection photo from September… I’ll have to get to that soon!

I sign up online? Is there an app?

I don’t think there’s an app for that.

By the way, it’s a double-sided Up poster, and it does have a picture.

EJE, you can sign up for DMR here online! www.disneymovierewards.com
It’s definitely worth it! It can take a while to get some of the points, but that all depends on how many Disney movies you own (and of course, if you still have the codes in the DVD). But I don’t want to get too off-topic… PM me if you need to know anything else! I’ve been a proud member for three years now!

I have an account set up with Disney.com, but I’ve hardly ever entered my codes to earn prizes. I just hardly ever think about doing it, but now I realize that I could probably be gaining a lot from it. I should definitely consider saving more of my Disney Rewards Codes!

DMR! I have the TS/TS2 shirt,(bled pink, after being washed with the Grand Circle Tour shirt) Cars 2 lunchbox from them, the Cars 2 poster, the Cars 2 watch, the Ellie badge, and the Bambi poster. Saving for the light up Cars sign to go with the “Best Friend” Piston Cup from my former history professor. And my Toy Story, Zurg, Incredibles, Monsters Inc, and Wreck it Ralph shirts from Christmas. Along with the Junkyard Jamboree shirt my history professor got with the Piston Cup.
