They don’t update too much, do they? Hmmm, oh well, they’ll have to do it sometime. ![]()
Bill: Well, Ratatouill ewas released a couple weeks ago, and they are probably just taking a break from all of the hype and stuff. But as the next movie WALL-E comes up, I am sure that it will be updated again.
Bill - It seems as if they update, like, once every millenium… ![]()
Eh, more like every two millenniums! ![]()
Gasduude - Haha! ![]()
You can’t really blame them, though. Busy schedules and a hectic workload constantly keep them on their toes, so I’m not surprised that they hardly ever update their own website.
Yeah - and our perception is kind of skewed. What, we check on Pixar websites/blogs/forums 20 times a day?
Their making the website to draw people in, not keep their fanbase.
Gasduude - Haha! Yeah, we expect too much of them sometimes, I guess. I used to check their official website two times a day at least, and I was always disappointed when I didn’t discovery many (if any) updates. I was all, “What’s wrong with these people? I have time on my hands! Update!”. (snigger)

Seriously, I don’t think their schedule is the problem because i personally know THEY don’t update, it’s their web-master. I think they dont update because they are very secretive. But it does get me mad when i click on Cars and It’s been a whole year and… NOTHING!
Yeah, I know! I’ve only been waiting forever for the dang page to update. It has to be a new record for the longest Pixar page to go without an update… (snigger)
I want that page sooooooo badly and just imagine how long it will take for ratatouille!!! curses…
 Their making the website to draw people in, not keep their fanbase.
Nope - that’'s our job! =D
Nope - that’'s our job! =D
Yep - hehe, that’s right! Where’s my paycheck, Pixar? ![]()
Update - Pixar.com now has a survey that is available for all visitors to
participate in. In a nutshell, it mainly asks its participant(s) to give their opinions on the website in general
and what improvements could possibly be made to make it more appealing and “fluent”.
You can
access this survey from the main page. Go take a look! ![]()
You can guess what I put
down to make the site more fluent (updating more) . ![]()
Oh, thanks for telling us Mitch. I just took a look at the survey.
You can
guess what I put down to make the site more fluent (updating more) .
Same
here. But I also said a redesign of the page. It’s spiffy, but it’s been the same since I was like 10! ![]()
Bill - Ha! I said the same
thing… ![]()
The Star Swordsman - You are most welcome, dude. ![]()
Well, I completed the survey. I suggested they update the site more often - especially the
news section, and once they officially announce films, they should put a little bit of info about them on the
site (Up for example).
When you guys here get to the “How much of a Pixar fan are you?” (or
something like that) question, I know what everyone here will put. ![]()
When you guys here
get to the “How much of a Pixar fan are you?” (or something like that) question, I know what everyone
here will put.
Ha! Yeah, I was almost laughing when I read that question… The
whole “What is your favorite Pixar film?” interrogation was no competition, either…
![]()
Heheh. Yeah. Ratatouille… right?
I was a bit torn when it came to that question
because I hadn’t seen Ratatouille yet, but it was on the list. I ended up picking good ol’ Toy Story,
though.
For the “What do you like most about Pixar?” I put “quality”. And for their
movies, I put “story”. Too bad you can’t pick more than one option.
