hehehe well Friday in my Enviromental Science class, my teacher was awesome for once and decided to forget class and let us watch a movie. He gave us a choice between Toy Story, Monster Inc, and Bugs life. We had to revote at least 3 times because some people were so indecisive!
We eventually settled on Monsters Inc. even though Toy story won twice butā¦
Whatever. I stayed loyal to my Toy Story
having happy memories Ah yes, to not have class and just watch a movie insteadā¦that was always something to enjoy when I was in school of course now in college, while I donāt mind just watching movies, I would prefer having no school at allā¦but we never had a chance to watch something fun in class, so how was the movie?
Wellā¦for one I enjoyed the movie. The rest of the class fell asleep for the most part. xP
We never finished it becauseā¦Well thats High School teachers for you, But Iāve seen that movie countless times and enjoy it every time I do watch it.
Aw man, one thing I will miss about high & middle school: random movie days!
We had the luxery of watching a Pixar movie once in my class in my entire public school career: And that was watching WALL-E in Plant and Soil Science this year! A perfect movie to watch in that class! Sort of. And we watched it on finals day, so it was basically the best finals ever! Me and two other people were the only ones interested in the movie though! Everyone else was sleeping or texting
Since this was an environmental science class, you should of watched WALL-E as well!
We watched WALL-E in Spanish class a few months ago. I know, thatās probably the most pointless movie to watch in a foreign language. Still, I enjoyed it.
This reminds me of when we watched Buscando a Nemo in Spanish class, the spanish version of Finding Nemo. We were supposed to be able to translate it into English while watching, but I already knew most of the lines anyway!
My German teacher seems to own a ton of Pixar movies dubbed over for us to watch. Though our class favorite for the last 3 years has been Forrest Gumpā¦ Itās always nice watching Nemo and Monsters. She just got Ratatouille this year, so I enjoyed that.
That is awsome that your schools offer German! We only have Spanish, French, and Latin by me. I take Spanish; we havenāt watched any Pixar films.
In fifth grade we all watched Nemo though, and that was when my grade learned i was Pixar obsessed: I was the only one who knew about Luxo in the opening titles and so many people asked me questions about Pixar and what it was. All those kids thought Nemo was just a Disney movie!
Now they know.
Yeah, well they USE to offer German. They stopped offering German I classes the beginning of last year due to budget cuts. Now we just have Spanish and French.
And props to you for enlightining your classmates!!! I do they same thing with my group of friends, if they want to hear it or not!
