Pixar directors should do Late Night shows

Hey, I was just watching Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and thought someone like Andrew Stanton or Brad Bird would be great guests. I mean, I’m pretty sure their movies are well liked…lol. And WALL-E did win the Academy Award, so yeah, what do you guys think? Would they make entertaining guests?

I think directors don’t get as much credit in movies as the actors do. So I guess I am for it.

Yeah, they would definitely make for great guests, but like TSS said, directors typically don’t get much credit. I think the only directors who get on are people like Spielberg, though I don’t watch Late Night shows much.

Yeah sure they would, but arent, most likely for the reason TSS said. The actors are the ones that do most all the publicity. Their names I guess are only familiar with certain people. I’m sure if I went up to random people and asked them who John or Andrew were, almost none of them would know. Unless yer like Speilberg, or Scorsese, or someone like that, you probably arent that well known with the general public. Heck, I’ve met people who dont even know what Pixar is or what they’ve done.

haha coincidentally John Lasseter just did the View which was good but they kind of introduce him as the man behind all the Pixar flicks and dont mention their respective directors. So I guess if anybody from Pixar is going to do a Late Night show it would be Lasseter.

I’d love to see someone like Lasseter or Stanton going on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross. That would be hilarious, and also feasible as he doesn’t interview just actors and actresses, but all sorts of famous people.

I would love to watch John or Andrew on any show. Today I saw John Lasseter on some TV show on HGTV where they give away houses, and John Lasseter was talking about the neighorhood he lives in. It was pretty cool.

Conan O’Brien interviewing any of the Pixarians would be funny.

I’d also love for 60 Minutes to do a segment on Pixar Animation Studios/Up.
