I’m sure you’ve heard this one.
I have story to pitch for a Pixar movie. It didnt take long to think of and I think with the help of the crew it could be great. I wouldnt be bothering if it wasnt worth it. But I think I nailed it.
how should I go about pitching it?
p.s. My brother is a fantastic artist/graphic designer so he can make some awsome pictures of characters to help me out.
Shore up your resume, get hired by Pixar, and then pitch it. Or hire an agent to pitch it to various studios.
They don’t take any unsolicited ideas due to legal reasons.
Thats disheartening. I dont think Pixar would hire me as a writer though would they? My best bet is wait till my brother sends in his portfolio gets hired then pass the idea along.
I guess my idea has to wait. it will give me enough time to work on it though.
There’s all sorts of information on how to prepare, sell, or pitch a script online, so use Google to your advantage.
