Yeah, we all meet up on skype and do a group call/ message (for those without mics) and we all start our movies at the same time and watch and talk about the movie together and have fun!
Hmm, it’s 11:00pm for me, which wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have a full day of work the next day. Put me down as a ‘maybe’ and I’ll see if I’m up to it. If I don’t turn up though, hope you guys all have fun!

Sorry, I’m still a little bit confused. So, we’re going do this on Skype. Doesn’t that mean we all need to get each other’s Skype names then? Do I give out mine?
Sorry I missed today’s PPMN! Did you guys manage to set it up and get it going? 
A member has asked me if I’m the organiser of P Planet Movie Nights. As far as I’m aware, ffdude1906 usually runs the Skype sessions, but he’s absent lately. I apologize if I misled anyone into thinking I was hosting the session today; I was under the impression I merely provided a suggested time and movie, and it was up to anyone to take it on. Gaaah… 
Hopefully the next one will be more organised. In light of ffude’s absence, I wouldn’t mind stepping up to the plate. If anyone else wants to, you’re welcome to volunteer yourself! 
I don’t think it even happened, considering nobody gave out their Skype accounts. I was talking about it with Chris and a few others the other day on Twitter, and he said he’d like to set it up again this summer, but this week wasn’t good for him.

I’ve been talking with a few members about resurrecting ffdude’s legacy to this forum, and there’s no better time to do it than this summer holidays, before everyone returns to school (I will be next week! 
).
So just propose two movie titles (doesn’t have to be Pixar) and dates, and we’ll do an impromptu vote. I haven’t worked out a system yet, but we’ll see how great the demand is for this first attempt.
In case you’re unaware what’s this about, read ffdude’s first post. But in a nutshell, it’s like a Commentary, only you won’t be recorded and you’re free to say your mind (within reasonable family-friendly guidelines, of course).

You’ll need Skype a mic, and lotsa chutzpah. No need for webcams, since we won’t be seeing each other (for privacy reasons, and also improves on latency). That’s all there is to it!

The Thursday time is good for me, and I guess Toy Story 2 cause I only have WALL-E on Bluray.
Yes, I’m so excited! This will be my first one! I definitely can’t make it if it’s on Thursday, but I definitely could do Friday. I have both WALL-E and TS2.

So post your Skype names here if you haven’t, and we’ll add each other on the day (or earlier if you want to). You can set up a Pixar Planet-specific account like me if you want to. And if your computer doesn’t have a built-in mic, get any cheap one will do. As long as you have speakers, headsets aren’t a necessity. And of course, your own copy of Toy Story 2!
And anyone is free to hop in mid-session if you’re free!

Nice to see the PPMN is making a comback… I have to decline involvement for the moment… mainly cause I have company with me at those hours and considering some of the members involved at the moment and my inavbility to see Toy Story 3 until after the 23rd of July I think its best for me to not attend until the feature has been seen.
