Pixar studio Tour

anyone been on one

Unlikely. Pixar is very protective of their work. They wouldn’t want any information

to leak out.

I know it would be the most fun I’d ever have.

~~=oP

I think the only way to get a tour of Pixar is to be friends with someone on the inside

and they take you in but even then they wouldnt be allowed to show you a lot of the stuff at Pixar.

If I

remember correctly AICN has photos of their visit to Pixar somwhere on their site.

I’ve been to Pixar a lot. It’s a big place. My uncle works

there. It’s so awesome

Cool! I woulde love to be able to visit the studio one day…

Next summer, i am going to get a Summerjob there.

By a summberjob do you mean like an internship?

Yes I believe so. I am not really

familiar with the term though. I just heard my dad talking about it.

My ultimate dream is to go on a Pixar tour. My art

teacher’s husband works at Pixar. She took one of her classes (unfortunately, not mine) on a tour at Pixar, and

all they could do was rave. I wish I could have gone on that field trip!

Yeah, I’m trying to help my sister get an internship at

Pixar, then say, “So, um, can I visit you one day?” (If it sounds like I’m using her for my own

benefit, I’m really not. Working at Pixar’s been her dream since we first saw Toy

Story.)

Actually, if I could just get a picture standing at the gate, I’d be happy.

Anything else would be a bonus. (A heavenly, happy-beyond-my-wildest-dreams bonus… )

PS: Moving this

to “The Studio and People”

This guy was at Pixar and wrote an interesting report and brought some nice

pictures:

I’m currious to know, who has actually been to Pixar?

Well, there’s a huge upscale shopping mall near Pixar and

a gigantic IKEA two blocks away. Does that count if I’ve been there?

If anybody knows how I can get a

tour of Pixar, hook me up!

Wow, if only! I’d love to see Pixar in person for

myself!

I know this from experience. Seeing

it in the news and in pictures was great. Actually going there and walking inside was just incredible. It has got

everything!

Yep – I’ve gotta go there

someday. If I don’t, I think I’ll have a nervous breakdown or something. Heck, I’m getting jealous just

listening to you guys rave about it.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they don’t give tours. As a matter of

fact, they say so on their website (www.pixar.com). (Go to “Company Info”, click on “FAQ’s”,

and then hit “Company FAQ’s”. It should be under there somewhere…)

It sucks, although…I

can understand their concern concerning their privace policy. They don’t want just anyone sneaking into their

studio and telling their secrets to the world (because they know that we’d do

it…).

Are you sure they don’t give

tours? I guess they changed it.

Are you sure they don’t give tours? I got a tour, but I was with my uncle. And my cousin got a

tour for a school trip once. I guess they changed it.

Hmmm… Well, I’m not sure.

With the exception of obtaining special behind-the-scenes “passes” from fellow family members who work

there, I’m pretty sure that they don’t give tours, at least not

randomly”. I think they do allow school classes to take special

“field trips” around the studio, but other than that, I think they’re pretty…stingy. :unamused:
