haha… that would be cool if they sent out chocolate bars with golden tickets to announce if you got in or not.

No what I menu is even though you didn’t make it Pixar still appreciate the effort. Pixar isn’t harsh like Willie Wonka was in the book. He created marvels and wonderful things but was not happy man himself. Chocolate promotes joy and happiness chemically. So it wouldn’t be as depressing as half the automated rejection letters you will get in your adult life.
That and just because your work isn’t where it needs to be now doesn’t it won’t ever be. Just new to try harder next time.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I would love to get rejection chocolate. If course getting the actual job would always be better. Lol
I knew you didn’t mean that Pixar was harsh 
I meant it more as a joke like, “I know you didn’t get it this year, but hey, chocolate will cheer you up!”
My hopes for getting in this year are a little slim, though. My demo was definitely much stronger than what I submitted last year, but I don’t go to a school that’s well known for art or animation, and the one (visiting) animation professor has basically told me that I will never make it in the industry. Not to mention, I submitted 2D work and everything that I’ve seen so far has been 3D…

I’m commercial photography going for marketing. I know social media, sales, google algorithms, graphic design, and various other things. But because I graduated in May 2012 and not marketing major. I might not get it. I went the extra mile to draw my résumé to show illustrator, photoshop, and photo skills to market myself and my personality. I don’t know if I get it but I will appreciate it if they do. I would be as humbled as anyone. I’m even planning on going for a masters in the fall in marketing.
We all are trying to reach above. Let’s hope we shine through!
my school had a few people that work at Disney visited and they said that Disney an Pixar consider whether or not they see improvement, and if it’s a significant amount, they will usually hire them. So you could have a pretty good chance

It’s bad when I was at work earlier and customers were getting their food. All I could think of was A Bugs Life… They come, they eat, they leave. Till one customer ordered a said he had a large order… ._. It was a large Icey drink and he said see that was a large order. I said don’t drink to fast it will give you a large brain freeze. He and his wife laughed.
I will say working with food will do that when rushes come. It’s like the grasshoppers.
I’m going to be keeping with my phone and checking my email religiously for the next few weeks. Let the wait begin.

I more than know that feeling. I am happy this week is not busy with my towns local spring festival keeps the crowds low.
