@mbblackbelt Check your spam folder also or even your trash folder in case you accidently deleted it.
I didn’t get an email from Disney either, and the email I’m checking is the same one that is on my profile. Not sure what it means, but mbBlackbelt, you aren’t going crazy.
Maybe we applied to different programs? I applied for a Modeling position.
In that email, they pretty much just want to let everyone know they will notify “finalists” for final review by May 8th.
Still waiting for them to get to the art department, probably after Marketing and Post Production. 2 more weeks of waiting here we come
They haven’t don’t public relations or marketing yet. 
Hope it’s soon! I’m ready and hoping for a call!

mmm About 2 weeks or so. During the submission process, it says it takes about 4-6 weeks (i think) from the submission date to make final decisions. So i’m guessing from now till the middle of May, they’ll start calling and sending rejection letters. After that, it goes quiet ;~~; well, for the art department, at least.
This is just what i’m assuming based on the info they gave during the submission process.

I hope so too, it would suck really bad if they ignored it even though I talked to them about it… I just get a little paranoid, because I wish they would send some kind of confirmation that the application was completed or something like that. I understand why they don’t though. 
But I kinda feel like spying on everyone’s works now… mwahahah I’m a newbie here, so it’s nice to meet you guys!

Hey guys! Still no update for the art department, but it’s exciting that our suspicions were correct. Congratulations to those that have gotten call backs so far!!
I’ve been quiet the last couple of days with finals at school (I got an A- on my animation final, which I’m pleased with considering it was one of my first attempts at a run cycle and it was with paper cutouts, not to mention the fact that my professor doesn’t give A’s because he wants to “inspire us to do better”) but I just have the one paper due today and I’M DONE!!!
@DemLion, I really hope it won’t be another two weeks, but the way they’ve gone so far, it’s probably what will happen.

I work part time as a director in live-action short films I’ve got a huge passion for storytelling, and the career I really want to end up with would have to be in Visual Development
