Hey everybody,just wanted to say hello. Im new to the forum but I have been following along for some time. I applied for the Disney Animation Lighting internship and I got an email on Tuesday too. Hopeful thinking!
Anybody heard anything about the Editorial internship?
Anyone from the San Francisco area know of any cool resteraunts or places to go there? I have heard Japan town is cool and by the ocean is nice too. I only ask because if some of get it it would be nice to try a place or two and see the beautiful city! I know if I was to go and find a bubble tea shop I am going to be in heaven. Creative coffee shops are cool. I know if we get in we will be tired but don’t waste the chance to see and try cool places out in your free time! Pixar is already going to be a interesting place! I love their tree room! X3 I love how the building is designed from what I saw in the video of a Day of John! On a website about the internships showed the place dressed for Toy Story 3! I wonder what they have dressed it up like with Monsters University!

Got my rejection letter for the marketing internship! Didn’t hear back from publicity, but I’m guessing that’ll also be a no.
Not all all disappointed, I have two years left to go. Good luck with everyone on their internship search!
So I guess this means we’re all out since they’re already sending out rejection letters?
I haven’t had an interview OR rejection letter. I wonder if I and some others who haven’t heard anything yet are in some kind of limbo. Not accepted… but not rejected. They need to have possible backups for people they interview that they decide not to go with and for those who are accept but decline. Not that this thought necessarily is comforting but a possibility to where our application stands.
I haven’t gotten anything back on Marketing as far as rejection wise. That makes me nervous. I still hope that means I have a shot! I’m praying that is still the case I really need this! I’m sorry for those who got rejection letter. Never give up though! I wonder if that means they are narrowing down. Maybe. Keeping Positive!

Sirlupton: It does take 4-6 weeks to hear back on the applications. They might be narrowing down possibilities or as you said holding the horn for others. Keep positive and hopeful! This ends week 4.
I was talking with someone from Pixar today and as far as the editorial internship (because he works in that department), there were about 1,000 applicants for it and there is only one opening. So needless to say things are cut throat. 
I’m hoping this as well. Anyone know how many marketing interns they are accepting?
I don’t even care if they don’t offer housing I have a place to sleep. X( I hope they have a few positions in marketing open! Keep Positive everyone!
