I’m wondering, the people who haven’t heard anything, did you guys apply for multiple internships? (Like me? I applied for three) I wonder if they hold off rejections until they have gone through your application for the other departments. It could go for interviews also. I don’t actually know, only a theory.
sirlupton, I applied for Animation, and then started to apply for Art, but I never sent in a portfolio. And yesterday I got the rejection for Art, but not for Animation. I think that they are narrowing down, with people like me (with incomplete applications) being the first to go.

I’m glad I found it because I’ve been panicking about my application status;; It’s passed like 5 weeks since the deadline and I was told they would let us know by end of april… I had an interview about 3 weeks ago for animation, but I think that’s just a school thing?? yes, they’re emailing the rejection letters, since it’s faster and less labor intensive than physical postage.

I just got a rejection letter for publicity. Still nothing on marketing though.
So I got my rejection for publicity too. I still haven’t heard anything for marketing and post production.
Are they doing the Art internships at the same time? And does anyone know why some people are interviewed and some just arent receiving the rejection letter? Like, does it mean if you haven’t gotten a rejection yet, but also still haven’t had an interview then the rejection is just inevitable?
I don’t know about any of the other departments, just animation. Try not to obsess and read into things too much. If you haven’t gotten a rejection letter, assume that no news is good news. Since the internships are starting in about a month, the wait is probably almost over. Go outside, enjoy the spring weather, and relax
