Heeeeeey all!
I’ve been sneakily watching this forum for a while so I thought it was about time I reveal myself with a question! Anyone heard anything about the Post Production position? I think the deadline was a week or so after the applications for Marketing, Story, and other internships like that. Does that mean I have to wait a week or two more for a response? My friend said Pixar just never got back to them last year and that’s started making me really nervous. I honestly don’t know if my pour little heart can take the wait!
Yeah I believe rl290 did an interview for post production. I applied and I think a couple others did too on this forum for post and haven’t heard anything yet. I say if there isn’t a rejection letter we must still be in the running! From past forums it seems that everyone did eventually get rejection letters, unless they were accepted of course. It would be nice to have closure if that is the case.

Also, does anyone know when the post production (or marketing) internship starts and ends? It’s 3 months long? 12 weeks? I can’t remember

Lil U - 12 weeks as described on the listing when they listed it up although i wish it was 12 months 
Did anyone got any notification from Disney internship?
It is the date they told they will notify for finalists on previous Email.
Since I’m not getting anything, it looks like I didn’t made in…
I have not heard anything since they sent out that email a few days ago. Although, many people who applied didn’t get the email. I don’t know what’s going on with Disney. Anyone on here apply for Laika, Blue Sky or Sony Imageworks?

Ok, it’s almost the end of the week. It is getting super close to when I need to contact my other internships on whether or not I’m going with them… hm. I hope I hear back from Pixar soon! It’s exciting and nerve-racking at the same time to have made it this far! Assuming not getting a rejection letter means I’m still in the running.
One of my teachers is on the panel that chooses animation interns, so I know for a fact that they haven’t made final determinations on who to go with yet. Also, for animation internships, they don’t do interviews; they go straight from reel to the job offer.

Anybody knows what’s the status for the Technical Director internships then and if they’ve already been chosen ?

Hey all! Just wanted to give an update on the Disney Program. I know some people did receive rejection letters yesterday. The two people that I know got them were Vis Dev. Also, Disney’s twitter says, “Dear Summer Intern Applicants, we’re close to decision time. Thanks for your patience. Please stay tuned for responses in the next few days.” So I don’t think we’re out yet. They might just be going department by department? I think that it’s just a lot to go through in just a week.

I applied for vis dev and didn’t got any word from them…
