Pixar themed party for adults

Hi! So my friend loves pixar so im throwing her a surprise pixar themed party for her 21st bday

Apologies if ive posted this in completely the wrong place or there is already a similar thread ive been unable to find

Ive done the usual google search but everything that comes up is aimed at kids… not really what im going for

Its fancy dress so all the guests will be the characters so with the decorations i want to go a little more …abstract

she loves all the easter egg stuff so i want to incorporate as much of that as possible

so heres what i have so far but im lacking in a few films and would love all your expert help!!
(most of these are painted cardboard cut outs i will make)

Toy Story
*decorate the living room ceiling with space related things
*pizza planet sign/truck
*mega gulp cup
*turn the living room into a western saloon where people can play drinking and card games
*cactus?
*a113 license plate
*dinoco sign

Bugs Life…
Monsters Inc –
*on every door in the house, stick another door, like a funky coloured one from the title sequence

Finding Nemo-
*decorate the bathroom to look like an aquarium/the ocean
*p Sherman goggles hung up
*bubble machine

The Incredibles…
Cars –
*real tyres strewn about with lightning tyres written on them
*route 66 sign
*welcome to radiator springs sign

Ratatouille-
*cheese in the kitchen
*chefs hat
Wall-E…
Up –
*loads of balloons
*grape soda badge
*up house - family.go.com/disney/pkg-disney- … rintables/

Misc –
*a luxo ball (a football painted to look like it)
*for the birds – birds painted on a line at the top of the wall – then a bird with no feathers at the bottom of the wall – my fav idea so far
*buy her a can of beer and changing the can to look like Dr. Catmull’s Root Beer

SO yeh, if i could invite you all i would but unfortunately my house is a little small :frowning: so yeh any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated and ill be sure to upload some pics of the final thing!

I have some suggestions:

For Ratatouille:

  • Do some Parisian-style decor (look for some Paris-themed art or Paris photographs), or even street bistro-style decor.

  • Have French foods. (escargot in brioche, eclairs, bon-bons, napoleons, etc.)

-Play some French music in the background (e.g. “Le Festin” by Camille)

For WALL•E

  • Decorate the house with BnL logos and brightly colored advertisements

  • Serve smoothies in small cups (Food-in-a-cup)

  • For a lido deck-atmosphere, hold it as a pool-party

  • Make a room to have a space-nebula background if there’s to be any dancing. :wink:

That’s so sweet of you to be organizing such a party, gerisgamea113! You’ve got some great ideas so far. Perhaps to go with A Bug’s Life, you could give your friend a rock as a present? :laughing:
