Hey everyone, this is my first post.
I was wondering if
anyone knew anything about a Pixar Tour. I’ve been trying to find one, but no luck yet. I am going over there
soon and hoping to get a tour.
Any hints or help will be much appreciated.

Pixar Tour of what? Oh you mean actually touring the
studio. at first I thought it meant pixar touring the country. But anyway, i havent really heard whether or not
they give tours. I dont think they do that though. Not in the way you’d think of one, you know, tours for the
public in tour groups and stuff.
Welcome to Pixar Planet,
Rebosso! It’s nice to have you here. ![]()
Unfortunately, and as far as I know,
Pixar Animation Studios does not currently present tours of their facility to the public…due to the fact that
they are a studio that is constantly at work and simply does not have the time to accomodate such things, I
imagine.
If you visit the official website via this
link…
pixar.com/companyinfo/faq/faq.htm
…and select the question which interrogates,
“Can the public tour the Pixar facility?”, it states quite clearly why they do not offer tours.
Believe me, everyone on this website would probably give anything to visit the studio just once in their
lifetime, so you’re not alone. ![]()
But, again, welcome to the forum boards!

Actually I’ve heard that they have
a really low-key one about once a year… I may be wrong about this though…
NOpe no tours for pixar . Only if you know somebody who works there or you have $100,000,000 to go on that
special tour .Though I did hear somebody ( Bon Jovi maybe ) was autioning a special tour of Pixar . Gee , i
should’ve saved my money . ![]()
JamieLew - Yeah,
you’re right actually. The do have one tour once a year for the public, though I’m not exactly sure when it is
and on what circumstances it is held. I wish they would explain more about it – I’d love to attend. ![]()
YES!!! You can tour PIXAR.
My wife and I were there last year close to this
time. I called a few days ago to find out when this year’s tour was going to take place and I was told that it
would be around the release of Ratatouille.
NOTE: You do not tour the production side of the studio, but
you are allowed to roam the halls, main lobby, and we watched a presentation in their amazing theatre. PIXAR does
not put these tours on themselves, its through a 3rd party company that I believe is co-owned by a PIXAR staff
member.
Here are some shots from our tour…

I agree with PV on this. When I saw the slide show, I was staring at each Incredibles pic for
a full minute.
Thanks a lot ROBONICS95. I really appreciate your
message. It’s around the release of Ratatouille I will be there… EXACTLY at that time! It looked like a lot of
fun.
Thanks again.
ROBONICS95 - Well what do you know? I guess you can tour the place! I was wrong by
a mile… ![]()
Thanks for the photos, by the way. I want that Nomanisan picture… ![]()
And I just looked through the slideshow once again. And I
saw a tiny doll of Jack-Jack in a little case. I was squweeing like crazy.
Pixar does offer a one-time annual tour to the Public, do they. But not including being able to view the studio production areas.
Obviously people who do know someone who works at the Studio do have their own chance at seeing what the employees who are involved in the productions, do on the machines they use.
I have also seen photos on journalist sites whose job have taken them to tour the Studio, and they have been able to see areas of the production side. I saw an image of a large machine in a room that the tour group was able to view, that is used to store data of their movie productions, more than likely.
