I’ve discovered recently that once a year pixar has an open day as such
when people pay to be able to go into the studio and do workshops or something… Do any of you know about this
and if you do please could you let me know how i can go too (first step: get into america
)
This is
intresting. I bet that the cost must be a lot of money. I mean, it is a tour inside the animation juggernaut
studio. That would be cool. Where did you hear this?
Lanny: Welcome to the forums Lanny! For your question, I think I have
heard of the Pixar tour on Upcoming Pixar but I don’t know were though.
I don’t
believe there is such a thing. It even says on Pixar’s
website:
Due to production demands and confidentiality issues, we are a closed studio
and do not offer tours.
And welcome to the forums, Lanny!

There actually IS such a tour. It happens one day a year
and is a benefit for the local school district. The basic event starts at $100 and increases sharply from there.
That’s all I know on it myself thus far and that’s all from Upcoming Pixar but I do plan to research it
further myself in coming months. I’m pretty sure we have at least another 6-9 months of planning time until the
next one though.
