You didn’t know? Have you not seen the behind-the-scenes extras??? That’s at Pixar Animation Studios itself! The giant Luxo isn’t for sale. It was made in Australia (as far as I know) and installed outside the ACMI in Melbourne for the Pixar: 20 Years of Animation Exhibit in 2007. Then they must have shipped it over to Pixar and that’s where it lives now.

That’s really cool, so they just kinda open the doors and showcase a bunch of their work or what? Is this an annual thing, or was it a one-time thing?
This is the first time I’ve heard of it, so only time will tell if Pixar Palooza becomes an annual event. The studio has a closed-door policy for tours, but there are ways of getting in a few times a year. 
Yeah, I’m hoping to be one of those few at some point. It’d suck to travel to the studio, only to be turned down, but I really wanna take my chance. Too bad I dont have the money or resources to go there for quite a while, but maybe I’ll be able to get something going for me down the line.
Getting inside the lot would be so great, just to be inside those amazing gates.
