Pixarpedia Missing Characters!

I am very upset at the fact that they have the rarest characters (teddy with missing head, bear, doll, and duckie on the shelf), but they left out a few characters that the book can not be completed without!

Toddle Tots Firetruck & Tikes These are one of the first toys seeing come to life in the movie! It is absurd that they are not in this book. I’ve seen stickerbooks that even have them by name (Cap Tike, Farmer Tike, Doc Tike, Hunter Tike, Painter Tike, Sailor Tike and Shriner Tike in the little red car). And ofcorse the firemen and the truck itself, these are very important characters.

Troll This character might not make much noise, but is seen enough to certainly be in this book before other characters. The scene with Buzz combing it’s hair shows that this character can not just be forgotten!

Roly Poly Clown This shocked me. They’re plenty of toys on the floor of Andy’s room, and most are in the Pixarpedia, but this one is not! Getting shoved by Mr. Potato Head, and the way it rolled around to get to it’s destination made it such a nice character. It even made a cameo in Monsters Inc.! How can this clown be left out?

If you are going to put characters like the Hockey Puck, or Combat Carl, how can these common and great characters be left in the cold? All I want is an explination on why the book left them out. Thank you.

And I hope this was the spot for this thread, couldn’t find another spot.

I didn’t even realize this, after I’ve read the Toy Story character section many times! I completely agree with you. They also could have included the See n’ Say toy that we see in the first movie. This character is very minor, like the one’s you mentioned, but they still should have included all of them!

I kind of have mixed feelings on this topic. On the one hand, we can’t expect too much from them. Pixarpedia can’t have every single Pixar character from their films. The book is already several hundred pages long, and by trying to squeeze every character in, it would be much more expensive and they might not be able to give as much space devoted to the primary cast. When I read the WALL•E section, I was just impressed that they actually included REM-E, despite being in the film for 15 seconds.

On the other hand, they had a Toy Story section and a Toy Story 2 section, and even included some characters twice, so there’s no reason why they couldn’t have fit all the TS cast in.
