Original 79: pixartalk.com/commercials/
Out of PIXAR’s 79 commercials produced in their early days, I’ve only been able to compile 29 of them, leaving 50 of them knowingly unfound.

This includes ones made for Tetra Pak, Listerine, Levi’s and McDonalds. Levi’s “Pinheads” wasn’t even aired on TV, but it premiered at SIGGRAPH. Images for that and “Mission” exist and there are ones seen in Toy Story 2 that seem to be “Stranded”, “Magnets”, “Daydream” and “Shake It”.

When clips of these commercials were shown in The Pixar Story, at least one had to be used with permission, and seeing as there are 79 of these, if PIXAR wanted to put these on a hypothetical PIXAR Short Films Collection Volume 3, they’d have quite a lot of rights to sort, not that there weren’t a lot of rights involved for The PIXAR Story as a whole. In terms of existing home media releases of Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, WALL-E and Toy Story 3, they managed to include various commercials and promotional animations such as the Toy Story Treats and interviews, though The Incredibles one may have lacked the McDonald’s commercial and maybe that’s because Disney have long stopped working with McDonald’s.

Only two of these were on DVD, while more have been uploaded onto the internet in the above two videos. That makes for 16 known bumpers, and in this case it’s more if there are any others. That Guy With The VHS had a Disney’s Doug Breaks video that might have had more not featured in the above two videos, for instance.
