I just went to Cosco, and I saw that they had the Pixar movie box with all the movies. I think I saw about 8 movies: Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Ratatouille, Monster’s Inc, Cars, A Bug’s Life, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo. It was for sale for $99. Well, I better get saving up!
Oh, and if anyone wants to know what it looks like. I dont know if this is spoiler or not so Im just gonna say it. [spoil]It’s like a silver box, that has 8 holes or so in it, each with a Pixar character from the movies in every hole. I didn’t see what the actual DVD’s looked like or anything. Just the box.[/spoil]
Hmm… I’d only want that if it came with something extra, like extra interviews or more tours of the Pixar campus. Otherwise, since I own (almost) all the movies, I’m not interested.
In fact… if I didn’t know better, the anarchist consumerist voice inside my head is telling me this is just another trick up Disney’s sleeves to fool people into buying something they already have.
But then I tell that anarchist consumerist voice to go soak its head
I think it also comes with that Pixar documentary that was on STARZ? I think I heard that like the director of it was saying it was going to be on it or something. It about an hour and a half long. I watched it on ondemand (FOR AT&T UVERSE! NOT COMCAST) and it was pretty good. I liked it.
That would be really cool! Although I do like to view the films as separate entities, since they’re each so unique. And would it be expensive to put them all on a few discs? I don’t know how the technology of DVDs work and that sort of thing.
Cool. And $99 is a good price for 8 discs. Of course that doesnt really help me much because I already have all the movies I want. But for others it’s nice to get them all at once.
