Ellie: I love it, actually I don’t really have any really close guy friends, but all of the guys at my grade school were like brothers. I don’t do well around guys at all. For some reason I freeze up, so that’s a problemo with having any close guy friends. Hopefully that’ll change this year.
Yeah, most of my guy friends are like brothers too. I find there are some things that are just easier to talk about with guys friends, cause with guys, there’s less drama. I’m glad you like it though, even though I wouldn’t be able to stand it 
You’re lucky you have dances at your school…we don’t have any at mine, except for semi-formal in November, and prom of course.
Wow, really?? We have dances every week. Maybe because the all-girl and all-guys school in the area all host their own, and it just comes out to once a week. Like, next week is a guy school’s, then my school’s, then another girl’s school. Huh. Could you go to another school’s if you wanted to?

I think we can go to other school’s dances, but I’m not really sure. I think it depends on the school. I’m not really big on dances anyway, cause the music is too loud so you can’t talk to anyone, and I have no one to dance with. Well, on the slow dances anyway. Not only that, but I’m a horrible dancer 
Oddly enough, as much as dances aren’t my thing, I’m really looking forward to prom this year.

Hahaha, thanks Ellie. And high five for curly hair I have it too. Ugh, that stinks about him. That happened to me once too… I feel so little saying this for some reason. I’m 14 (almost 15) It seems so little for a bf, but everyone I know has one. I thought it was stupid last year in 8th grade, but now that I’m in hs it doesn’t feel as stupid. Good luck with him though

Thanks for the encouragement you guys I’ve liked the same guy since grade five…that’s seven years, going on eight. That’s kinda sad, really, if you think about it. But him and his girlfriend seem really happy together, so I wish them both the best. I’ll probably wait until university to get a boyfriend. Until then, I’ll live vicariously through my best friend

Hi-five Katie for first week of school completed. I’m glad it’s finally the weekend, but unfortunetally I have lots to do these next two days. Saturday I’m hosting the yearly Boy Scouts opening ceremony and then I’m going to go on a jog with my dad. Sunday I have to help cook the food for the NATO members joining on the Roman Aurelian Walls Walk. I’ve already done it two years in a row, and although it was interesting, by now I already know all about it and none of my friends will be on it.
I’m still going to make the best of tonight though. I have a fresh cup of coffee ready. Black as the devil and sweet as a stolen kiss. (+5 nerd points to whoever knows where that’s from). So, what’s up?

Katie, I keep trying to get over him, but everytime I see him, it’s just so hard not to like him! He’s funny, he’s cute, he’s really smart (top of our grade), and he’s one of the nicest guys I know. Maybe I’ll just stop looking at him
