Pixarteers Thread!

Hey, Jessie, not sure if your busy or anything, but we’re all in the chatroom right now.

Give me the link

Here it is: [url]Kiwi IRC

Snipe’s going to be gone for like 3 seconds (actually 15 minutes), but he’ll be back soon.

okie dokie
Going on now.

Only a few days left until my big trip! We’ve decided to go to Rhode Island for 4 days starting this Friday before Disney World.Just thought I’d give a heads up in case I’m gone from the great forum for a few days.

Wow, Rhode Island! I always wanted to go there when I was younger. Well, have a good trip! See ya when you get back!

WooHoo! Disney World! I live about an hour and a half away from Disney World and I visit at least once every month! If this is your first time, then I can tell you that you’re going to love it! It’s my favorite place on Earth. For Pixar fans, the must-sees are Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot, Toy Story Midway Mania! and Block Party Bach at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug! and Finding Nemo - The Musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. All the attractions are truly top-notch. My favorite happens to be Toy Story Midway Mania!

Alright, enough of me chatting. I could talk for days about Disney World. Have a great time and let us know how much fun you had when you get back!

:open_mouth: Rhode Island, then Disney World?! That sounds like a blast! I’m soo jealous, my summer has been really stupid. :frowning:

I want to go to Disney World so badly, I haven’t been there since I was like, eight! We’re going next year for marching band. I’m so excited!

Have fun!

I might be going to the Grand Canyon next but after this morning those plans went down the drain.

?

I hope you have a great time on your trip twitch, you’ll have to tell us all about it when you get back!

That sucks, especially if you’ve been looking forward to it for a long time! What happened? (If you don’t mind me asking, of course. You don’t have to say anything.)

Yes! The forum is starting to come alive! I’ll be in the chatroom if anyone wants to join me.

My mom thought she would be okay flying but when we went to buy the tickets online, she flipped and said she wasn’t flying. I’m all for the 7 day drive but my mom doesn’t want to do that either, so there goes our vacation. We may go to Maine, but we’ve been there billions of times. It’s boring now.

But my goodness Maine at night on the coast is so romantic. <3 With the moon shining off of the water.

Oh and Snipe, I’ve failed you. I’m still writing the chapter.

That’s alright.

Wow, you all must live up in the North-Eastern section of the US! Maine is another state I always wanted to visit, but the closest I’ve ever been is North Carolina. :sunglasses:

Sorry to hear that… ive never been to maine but ive been to: West Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio. and Rhode Island

Snipe, I live in New York City. :stuck_out_tongue: It’s about a 5-7 hour trip. More if you’re going deep in Maine.

EDIT:

I’ve been to the entire East coast. Just the east coast. -.- It’s so boring now. I want to feel what being in a different time zone feels like. Not one that’s an hour ahead or behind. Like 3 hours or 2 hours.[/b]

Aw, that really stinks, Jessie. I actually think that a road trip would be more fun, because then you get to see a lot more awesome things along the way. And then you would get to travel Route 66!

But you’ve been to Maine? That awesome! I’ve always wanted to go to the most eastern tip of Maine on New Years day, so I could be the first one in the entire country to greet the new year! But then I learned that the easternmost point in the US is actually in Alaska, because the tail of Alaska stretches out and crosses the international dateline, so it’s technically in the east. [/random fact]

I’ve actually been up and down Route 66 over and over, although I’ve never seen the entire stretch. We’ve joked that we may have ended up in some of the Cars documentaries, because when they would have taken their trip was when we spent most of our time on Route 66, and we thought we saw a van very similar to our van in the background of their videos. :sunglasses: I doubt it was actually us, although that would have been pretty cool.

I’ve been to Route 66 once. I got a refrigerator magnet and a few pictures of the sign.

It’s so great there. I was in Tennessee. We didn’t even mean to go on Route 66 but we got on it by accident and when we saw it, I looked down the road and thought to myself, “Radiator Springs is…allllllllll the way down there.” :unamused:

I wish it was real.
