I’m doing good, making a schedule for everything I have going on this summer. 
You’re going to camp, right? And Colorado? Busy Grace!
It’s really summer-y here too! I finally got a chance to wear a nice outfit that I’ve been waiting to wear when the weather warmed up. I don’t really have any summer plans yet…work, babysit, probably some stuff with my family. I just went to Florida last year so I’m not expecting a huge vacation or anything. How is camp? Sounds fun!
Katie: Yep! All the craziness begins in a week when my brother leaves, and then there’s Colorado, and then I’m helping my church with VBS, and then I have to do a major cleaning of my room and squeeze in some school, and then camp, and then my mom will want me to start planning for my birthday. 
So yeah, I’m going to be busy this summer. It should be fun, though!
Miss Carrera: Camp should be fun, I have a brochure and the stuff they do there looks really cool! 
Awesome! It’s kind of sad to admit but I’ve never been to summer camp. I know it’s a typical childhood thing that most people do growing up but I haven’t!
Me neither! I don’t think I could be away from home for a while though, so I’ll die in college My summer’ll probably be babysitting, avec ma famille, and saving up money for a trip to France with school. The Disney in August, and studying for my permit test in October. Can’t wait to drive.
Grace, that sounds busy! Summer goes so fast that way. But it’s so fun to be busy. What’re you planning for your birthday?
This is actually going to be my first time. My parents normally don’t let me go to those things, but they don’t want me to get lonely with my brother gone, so they let me go this time.
Katie: I know! I haven’t thought too much about it, but I’m hoping I can have some friends over to spend the night, and if that doesn’t work out, I might see if there’s a theater anywhere nearby that’s playing Cars 2. 
Grace: That sounds like an great plan
Katie: You’re working on your driver’s license too? I’m ready to take the G1 test, I should be going for it sometime this month. I’m excited and nervous to drive at the same time. I can’t imagine myself behind the wheel of a car!!!

No, he signed up for some program, he’s going to be helping out at a camp in Tennessee, so he’ll be gone all summer.
That’s so cool! You’ll both be at camp in different places My friends get hyper too, especially when there’s caffeine in the mix

And we were still crazy the next morning, so making the cake got kind of interesting.
Ah, sleepovers. And cake… I don’t see that working! But I love cake. I could go for some cake right now
