I get annoyed how some people have really laid into him after the critical bashing of Cars 2. Name one pioneer who hasn’t had a critical failure, seriously? And some people are like, oh, well he needs to explain himself! Yes, Cars 2 was a weak film, I’m going to be honest. But it was a personal story to him. What could be worse than making something close to your heart, and then having it ripped to shreads? Yes, it must be awful. But I’m sure he, and Disney and Pixar will get over it. The amount of effort he puts into Disney and Pixar is enough for me, to be quite honest.

I agree. People can’t just think that Pixar is going downhill after one mishap. I mean, their human. They can make mistakes can’t they? Until they see Brave or Monster’s University, then they could decide on Pixar’s future would be like.

By what we seen with Brave so far, it could be one of Pixar’s darker films. I assume it’ll probably get a “PG” rating though with some of the violence and the serious tone this film will have.

I have high hopes for Brave. Monsters University however, not as much hope, but much more than when Cars 2 came out.
