My first vehicle? I’d really like a truck. Ford or Chevy. Any color.

I thought about y’all’s offer all last week, and last Friday’s PPMN really convinced me. It was neat meeting everyone, and I thought it would be entertaining to join, since everyone was so nice and had a friendship.
And the fact that you and Ding wanted me to join, I thought that offer alone was very cool

My first vehicle is going to be a 60’s Volkwagon Bug, and I’m going to save up and redo the car to make it look like Herbie.
If I could have any car, I’d want a yellow convertible Corvette Stingray. That is my absolute favorite car.
My wish is that my parents actually get me a car when it’s time. 
My parents already promised to get me a Bug when I turn 16… I must say I’m very thankful for that.

Gah! I want a truck so badly! When my parents gave me the Versa, the first offered to give me my dad truck, but then decided it would cost too much on gas and traded it in.
And coming from a cool ducky like me , that offer must’ve been very cool.
As I have said before, this place is too much fun.
When I’m 16, the most that can happen to me is getting a permit. When I’m 18 I get my driver’s lisence and then possibly a car.

lol it is a pretty blue, that ford had 400+hp!! and Love70ways you traded it in because of gas guzzling? what was it? Chevy/ford/dodge/ect Engine? v8? V6? overhead cam or under? OD transmission? or stick or regular auto? was it a 3 on the tree? 4 on the floor? rear gears? year?
It wasn’t really gass guzzling, but my parents just wanted another car so they traded in the truck. Saving on gas was one reason they didn’t want to give it to me; I don’t have a job or anything.
It was a Nissan, though.

how much is gas where you live? btw the other cars my parents had 73 Pontiac Ventura (moms first car) 1989 VW Jetta Wolfensburg (dads little speeder) both have had Chevetts… Now my dad has a 1987 Dodge Diplomat Ahb cop car…

I don’t have a car, despite the fact that I’m sixteen. I just got my permit a few months ago, in June I think. My first car will more than likely be highly claustrophobic and barely able to run.
My dream car would probably be a blue or silver Civic, though, or some kind of SUV because I’ve grown up with them.
Sean: Ah, gotcha. I’ve known a lot of families here who have traded in their trucks and big cars because of gas prices, so we call it the GG disease.
