Funny that you all were talking about swimming earlier… I went twice this week, once in an indoor pool and the other out in a lake. Didn’t like the lake so much though. It was all icky and muddy. I stayed ashore most the time there.
Favorite character from Cars: Doc Hudson. Favorite character from Cars 2: Doc Hudson. And then maybe Lightning McQueen (from the first).
Hey, Bonanna, what I always do in that situation is use the Edit button… that way you can add a new paragraph to your previous post without breaking any rules.
Agreed. Although I still don’t hold it anywhere near as high as the rest of the Pixar films.
On another note, how about ‘Brave’? Paulisha and I were discussing it just a little while ago and we had pretty much the same opinions on it. What are your initial thoughts so far everybody?
Two Words: Good idea.
I really want to see Brave And i want to see two other movies:
What to expect when Expecting
and
The 5 Year Engagement
Ahhhhhhhh! So many good movies out Oh, Don’t forget:
The Avengers!
I’v seen “The Five Year Engagement”! It is actually pretty good! I thought it would be a cheesy romantic comedy and I didn’t love the ending but overall it was better than I expected. I would suggest it. I would also like to see “The Avengers” too. My friend and I were supposed to on one of the first nights it came out but it was sold out.
How I always put is that from a critic stand point, I hated Cars 2. But from a fan point of view, I loved it. <3
Although Rebecca said she and I were discussing about Brave, I’ll say my opinion for everyone else, lol. I’m actually not that excited to see it. I don’t like how it’s SO different from the other Pixar movies. You know, how Pixar movies just have a look? The story doesn’t seem that exciting either. The whole fairytale/princess/medieval theme seems too… I can’t believe I’m saying this, Dreamworks territory to me. I’m sure the storytelling and artistry is no doubt as superb and beautiful like all Pixar movies but the story so far and whole Scottish culture just doesn’t seem like my thing. I hope it’s not a flop for Pixar’s sake, two in a row, that would suck. But I don’t even know if I’m going to see it.
And yes, Rebecca, I literally just copied and pasted that from our conversation. Laziness FTW.
Best. Movie. Ever. Also, Men in Black 3 was really really good too.
I think it’s starting to become a marketing trend. They leave franchises for a decade or so, then make another movie, and drag in a whole bunch of cash; Toy Story for example.
