School already? Well, you guys got out earlier than me, so I’ve still got over a week of summer vacation to enjoy. 
It isn’t always so bad going back though, in my opinion at least. 
No, it’s not. Especially when it’s… SENIOR YEAR.

Ha, High School! I remember that. I remember saying the Pledge of Alleggiance everyday.
they told us that in college we would have longer summer vacations… they lied. We started school this year (in college! 
) a week after my High School started. But i still kinda miss High School, not the tests, or the 6 hours straight, or the waking up at 7 am every day, but i miss when teachers would hand stuff out instead of telling you to go print it off yourself, and i miss my friends, some are going to the same college i am (it’s literally down the street from my High School), but a lot of them are out of state now, and at least one is going to school out of the country. Its weird, because some of them i’ve been in school with since the 3rd grade when i started going to Public schools, and i don’t see them every day anymore…
But, of course, in college we have this strange thing called time, during which we can actually get our homework done… during the week! and we get to go outside! between all classes! in the sunshine! ad we have as long for lunch as we want! (as long as we go to class) and we are expected to have electronics in class! (its a requirement for some classes to bring an iPad, smart phone or Laptop)
anyway, how has everyone been? i haven’t been around in a while with watching the Olympics (while at the beach) and school starting… but il try to get on like once a week now (probly over the weekends when i have time…)

I just started school as well and so far I am loving it! My first period spare is a gift from above. <3 I am in SUCH a better mood with decent sleep!!

most days my classes don’t start till 12:30-1 so i know how you feel about the sleep! except Wednesdays and thursdays my day starts at 8 am

Same! Represent. Oh, I absolutely love waking up later than my friends for my college classes. And sleeping in before high school when I don’t have college classes, that’s the best. 
I think I’m one of the only members from the midwest here not counting Amy and Queen. Everyone elese lives on the coast states, mountion states, or another country.
Cool! I like the diversity. I think I am one of about maybe three Canadians on this site. Proud to represent!
I’m not that close to the coast, I’m closer to the mountains than any ocean coast… which kinda stinks, because then we just get the humidity and heat, not the ocean breezes and moderated temps 
MissCarrera: I bet Canada’s a lot cooler than here! (not that I would really know, i’ve never been to mainland Canada…) But i have a friend going to school up there!
yes, if you all hadn’t guessed, it’s hot today… second day in a row at 90 degrees, and it’s only cooled off to 80 at 11:30 PM… with 80% humidity… this kind of wether makes me grumpy in September, and it makes it hard to play my Cars video games… 
(in a room upstairs that the AC doesn’t get to and the window in that room doesn’t open because my house is 70 years old and that window is original to the house… is fall here yet?
It’s September and it’s 90+ degrees with more than 50% humidity and rain everyday here. You guys are lucky.
at least you get rain that helps! we will go for weeks with that kind of weather and not get a drop

Nope, it is NOT cooler up here like people think. Not where I’m from at least. We’ve had super hot weather all summer with very, very little rain. Today is probably only the second day of actual fall weather, and even then it is still a bit warm.
How did everyone’s Monday go? Mine was fairly well for a Monday. XD
Mondays aren’t bad for me (I get to sleep in!) it’s wednsdays and thursdays that are awful (8 am classes ), how about you?
Oooh, 8am is when you have to be in class? I wouldn’t like that at all! 
I don’t start school until 9:45 everyday which I quite like.
So I have a question for you all to think about this week, how long is Lightning McQueen actually in Radiator Springs?
by my count (and assuming Piston cup races are on Saturdays):
Saturday night: Race, Mack & McQueen leave Tennessee (Motor Speedway of the South)
unknown amount of time driving across the country, it took us a week on Rt 66, but Mack is on I-40 and driving though the night, the filming makes it look like Sunday night into early Monday morning is when McQueen gets lost.
Monday: Traffic court, race Doc (ends up in cacti), scrapes pavement back off, gets the road paved to the intersection.
Tuesday: Sally invites McQueen to stay at The Cozy Cone, tractor tipping, paves to Cozy Cone sign
Wednesday: Drive, sees Doc race, finishes the road that night.
Thursday: new tires, paint job, bumper stickers, fix the lights, media comes and takes McQueen
Friday: (assuming) they get to LA, change his paint job and tires back to normal, probably a press conference to shut all those rumors up. Back in RS, Doc probably told them that morning, Ramone first (in my imagination) so Ramone could put the Hudson Hornet decals on Doc, then he tells everyone else, they get ready to go to LA
Saturday: Race, (again in my imagination) Sheriff gives Doc and the others a police escort when they get into LA (I can only imagine the traffic)
Does all that seem right?
~Doc says it takes a car 5 days to pave the road “If a fella does it right” but it only takes McQueen about two and a half days, and mostly at night it seems.
~ In my imagination, Monday morning McQueen is in either Harv’s office or at the Rust-eze HQ telling them he wants his racing HQ in RS, and I imagine there is some convincing needed.
~The reason I’ve been wondering is because I saw a picture that someone made (it could have been on here, I don’t remember) of McQueen and Sally after all the lights are fixed, and Sally’s caption says “I love Fridays” so I started wondering if it really was friday.
~Any thoughts?

Monday: Mack traveling
Tuesday: McQueen gets lost
Wednesday: Traffic Court, race with Doc, paves to Cozy Cone.
Thursday: cactus, Sally invites him to stay, tractor tipping
Friday: Lightning founds out Doc’s secret, drive with Sally, Lightning sees Doc race.
Saturday: Lightning helps the town, McQueen is found that night.
Sunday: Closing race.

If you already have, I would to say yes and give it a go but unfortunately I am very busy at the moment so I’m having a hard enough time keeping my two current stories going. I would feel bad to take something new on if I’m not totally sure I can complete it. Sorry about that, otherwise I would have given it a try.
