Pixarteers Thread!

Yeah, I haven’t seen How to Train Your Dragon either… in fact, the only CG Dreamworks movie I’ve seen is Shrek, and personally I can’t stand that movie. :unamused:

I’ve yet to see HTTYD, and I’m not sure if I want to or not.

LightningAndDoc, I’ll follow you right now.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been on in a while, I pulled a double shift at work yesterday, and by the time I got home, I was dead tired. I certainly missed a lot, didn’t I?

Congrats on having the most popular Cars fanfiction jessie  I read the latest chapters, they’re the best so far. Can’t wait for chapter 11!

Mmmmm, butterbeer…Oh, yeah, I read your fanfiction too Rayhawk, left a review for you  Goes back to daydreaming about butterbeer

How to Train Your Dragon was a really great movie, it’s definitely in my top 5 of 2010 so far. Those of you that haven’t seen it should really give it a try (I’m looking at you Snipe, jessie, and LightningAndDoc :stuck_out_tongue:). It didn’t appeal to me at first either, but I’m really glad I gave it a shot. Hiccup = cutest cartoon boy ever <3

I’ve thought about seeing it. Is Hiccup the main character? If he is then I know who you’re talking about and he is attractive.

Thank you and I have read your review. I’m putting up chapter 11 tomorrow. Either before or after my doctor’s appointment. Then hopefully I’ll have written the thank you note. I’m so busy this week.

I know how you feel, Evil! I was just going on a rant yesterday about how I only get to come on for about an hour everyday, which definitely isn’t enough! Now I’m feeling much better, because while it is only an hour, my time here with you guys is definitely the BEST hour.

Oh, and I’ve seen HTTYD! I didn’t really think it was as good as some people say, but that might have to do with my slight bias towards a certain animation studio. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, but if I didn’t like Pixar so much, HTTYD would definitely be one of my favorites. And it’s not like I didn’t think it was good, I thought it was one of the best movies this year, after TS3 and Inception! The story was great, the score was amazing, and the action scenes were, well… action packed!

Edit: Hey Jessie!

Hey Ding <3

Yeah, Hiccup is the main character. I just love shy, kinda nerdy types like him <3 He reminds me of my friend (who is dating someone else, sadly). I agree Ding, I think it’s my number 3, after Inception and Toy Story 3.

I love how the thread is so active through the day, while I’m at work, and then as soon as 10:00 rolls around, everyone scurries away to their beds 8D

Like roaches when you turn the light on. ;-p

Jessie, I have no idea why, but that seriously made me laugh for like 5 minutes straight! Haha, what an image!

I think I’m going to call 10 PM EDT “syrup hour.” You know, because everything is slow, just like syrup? :stuck_out_tongue:

(Actually… never mind. That was really, really lame. I don’t even know why I said that. >_>)

Ill be way past 10… and i wish i had alight on right now i just came out of a dark alley im on my phone right now…

Because I’m a comedian :stuck_out_tongue: har har

The syrup hour? Hmmmm  I can actually see that working.

Mopar! Don’t step on roaches!

8D 8D He he, roaches. Not that we’re comparing Pixar Planet members to roaches, just the way they scurry; you know, their scurri…ness…yeah.

Hmm, syrup hour, that might just catch on Ding :stuck_out_tongue:

Careful not to get kidnapped mopar5! Dark alleys are like, the main hang out of kidnappers. :open_mouth: remembers she isn’t talking to mopar5, and scurries, roach-like, into the corner to sulk

Ooo, visiting PP in a dark alley? That sounds so shady, Mopar! :stuck_out_tongue:

I went to a bowling alley with some friends yesterday. Normally we go to another one, but we had coupons for this one. Anyway, it was shadiest place ever! It was part of a run-down plaza, and it was the only store still in business. There was no front entrance, you had to go to the back entrance, which was in a dimly lit alley with garbage. All the windows were boarded up and there was a cardboard sign over the door that said, “Brandan’s Bowling.” Once through the door, you walk down a flight of stairs to the most run-down, neglected bowling alley you’ve ever seen. I was scared at first, I though we were walking into the underground black market or something! Highly suspect!

I just noticed this thread has more pages than the Corrupt A Wish Game. WHOO!

Yay! :smiley:DD

Jeff! :frowning: Be careful! :stuck_out_tongue: I don’t want to have a broken Jeff!!

UGH. I hate those server overloads.

Jessie: All I know is that I’m not going back there again! :stuck_out_tongue:

Woo, that was my first server overload that didn’t go away after refreshing! I have to say, it was… annoying.

Tell me about it :unamused: It lasted for 10 minutes. I almost went into withdrawl XD

Wow, that bowling alley you went to sure sounds classy Ding 8D There was a stairwell in the playground of my old elementary school that sounds a lot like it. I think it led down to the gym, easier access for the janitors I guess. Regardless, it was pretty shady. Oddly enough, my friends and I hung out there a lot in the winter during recess, cause it was the only place that was sheltered from the wind.

I’m going to bed. I hope to see some of you at the Chatroom Quiz-O-Rama tomorrow at 3 PM EDT. I’ll be there!
