Pixarteers Thread!

Pixarfan: pm me who you think it is and why…

:open_mouth: Yeah. Erika. That makes a heck of a lot more sense than Karie…I feel extremely stupid now. I’m ashamed to show my face at Reach For the Top when school starts again 8D

So you went to Orlando for a school trip? That’s got to be the best school trip ever! What was the reason?

Evil: Well, it took me a few months to figure it out, and I was the one who made the name, so… XD

Well, not all of the school got to go, just the music students. Every four years they had a tradition of performing at Disney in a contest they have. Our band got first and our choir got second. I’m only in orchestra, though, and we didn’t place. Oh well. I had the experience of a lifetime anyway. Space Mountain is just… amazing. Usually I don’t like roller coasters much because I don’t like anticipation, but when you can’t see where you’re going it makes it much more thrilling and it takes away the part I don’t like. Expedition Everest is really fun too though.

WHAT DID IT LOOK LIKE!?

I would assume it’s the one that’s been released that’s just the logo, similar to the first movie.

I’d love to be wrong, though,

I’m pretty sure it was just the original Cars poster with a silver 2 below the Cars logo. It was still cool to see some of the upcoming movies though.

Edit: Heh. Rayhawk was right. It’s funny when I post late.

Aww darn it. :frowning: I thought maybe it had like the new characters on it or something.

They really need to give us more information about this darn movie. :imp:

You’re so lucky Arkie! I wish my school would go to Disney World for a school trip! Actually, the physics class went to Wonderland recently. The official reason was so that we could learn about the physics involved with roller coasters :unamused: Even our teacher wasn’t buying it; we just went on rides all day. What instrument do you play in the orchestra?

My favorite ride at Disneyworld was Expedition Everest! I love roller coasters, especially when they go backward  I went on Splash Mountain, and I would have enjoyed it…but the ride stopped for about 15 minutes due to technical difficulties. The ride stopped, not the talking animals. I sat there for 15 minutes listening to “Brer Fox and Brer Bear are causing some trouble down the river! Better go check it out!” over and over and over and over again. I wanted to punch that stuupid turtle by the time we started moving again :imp:

Don’t worry jessie, I’m just as impatient as you for info on Cars 2

I just don’t understand it. Why did they advertise every other movie they made like crazy, even the first Cars movie, but they are keeping this one a secret as if the FBI is on to them or something.

I just don’t understand and that’s what’s driving me crazy.

Jessie: Maybe the FBI is onto them! :astonished: envisions JL running from government agents

Especially since we’re well off of the heels of Toy Story 3 and Cars 2 is less than a year away. I really thought we’d at least have a teaser trailer by now. I agree, it’s like the FBI or something.

Evil_Genius_27, my school (actually my choir) goes on a trip every year to Disney World to sing at the Candlelight Processional at Epcot for Christmas! It’s such an awesome experience, singing in front of park guests, and we get 4 free tickets to come back any time we want in the future!

And my favorite ride would have to be Haunted Mansion. It’s such a classic ride and never seems to bore me, no matter how many times I ride it.

Evil: I play the violin. I’m not exactly the most vital player in the orchestra though. Your Splash Mountain story reminds me of what happened to us when we went on Spaceship Earth. The entire ride stopped when the cavepeople were throwing rocks at the mammoth. We thought it was supposed to happen, but then it told us to stay in our seats and the green exit sign turned on and people came in with flashlights. Some of my friends started mocking it because we’d seen it repeat at least eight times. Some of the remarks involved “oh, like one rock is actually going to take down a mammoth” and “Pokerock! GO!” It was hilarious.

Jessie: It’s been bothering me a little too. I have next to no idea what it’s about except that I think it has something to do with Mater and Lightning going around the world.

I guess they don’t want to give out information too early because they don’t want the craze to happen now, and then everything would die down by the time it’s actually released. Although, that wouldn’t explain why Pixar didn’t do that with their other films.

G’night, you all. I’ll talk to y’all tomorrow and I’ll get my 600th post tomorrow! Hurrah!

Goodnight Forster!

There has to be a reason why there isn’t a little, “Hey Mater!!! I got tickets to go around the world!”
“Really? Oh boy! Let’s go!!!”

A teaser. Just a teaser. That’s all we ask for, Pixar. A teaser!!!

This whole not showing the teaser really is a great teaser itself…

Goodnight, Pixarfan! A pre-congrats on the 600 posts!

Oh no. Oh, oh no.

The dreaded Syrup Hour approaches.

And I forgot to ask about what to do about my fanfic before everyone left! D:

I’m still here.

What do you need help with?

I actually had an idea for the teaser.

Announcer: “From the creators of Finding Nemo and Up, comes the next chapter in the adventures of Lightning McQueen!”

Mater: “Hey, Mr. Announcer Guy, what about me?”

Cars 2. June 24, 2011. In Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D.

YES. THANK YOU.

That would be perfect!

I guess it’s because of the Cars Toons.
