A Lovely Place

The world could be a lovely place, If we would let it be
The world could be a lovely place, If only we could see
What we’re really doing when we make someone cry
There are so many people who just want to die
We scorn them; we ruin their lives
They want to cut themselves with knives
Can’t we be kind?
Stop tormenting that kid’s mind
I think we should love these people as the one who loves us
We should not fight, mock, or fuss
They have as much right as you or I
To live free of fear that we will make them cry
The world could be a lovely place, If we would let it be
The world could be a lovely place, If only we could see
I will choose to love them, just to let them be
For they are the ones who can really see
What a lovely place the world could be

Wow, that was impressive Virginia! I don’t have an artsy bone in my body, so I couldn’t write poetry to save my life. I think you have a flair for it though And I agree with what Ding said, the message you convey is just beautiful. You’ll have to tell us when you get a reply!

Konrad: That’s a reat idea! We totally should. One thing- what can I do? I use a DSi so I can’t watch videos or make graphics

If you can draw/paint pictures, play music, etc. then you could do something like that!

I can sorta draw- I like drawing cartoons and doodling in my spare time.

Well, I’m not relgious… but everyone celebrates Christmas! I don’t know anybody that doesn’t- and they’re not religious either.
Plus you get a huge dinner and lots of presents…and last year, on Christmas day, I saw Incredibles on a TV channel!

Well, I just graduated from middle school. I’m starting high school as soon as the summer ends. So I am currently in LIMBO.

Typical scenario again, I suppose. There’s nothing quite as bad as feeling down on your own birthday.

Everything is better now though, thanks to everyone on here, including you Ding! Thanks for my special e-birthday cake blows out candles even though it’s a day late It’s delicious!
