Not too much excitement going on oh well,

Maybe if I post some actual ART that might liven this thread up a bit so here ya go!

The new and improved Blaze! :

For those who are seeing this character for the first time. I’ll put up a mini summary of his background:

Name: Damon Best (Frozone’s nephew)

Super Name: Blaze

Age: 24

Super Power: The ablilty to manipulate heat/fire including form. (sparks, heat waves, etc.)

Costume: Flame resitant yet comfortable. (BTW MAJOR costume change)

Strengths: Tech smarts, determined and persistent personality, has amazing control over his powers, varied fighting styles.

Weakness: Inexperience

So pretty drastic (but not so drastic) changes went on here. Number one primarily being my overall slight change in “style”. I’ve finally learned to loosen up a bit to get a more lively look to my drawings. To me it looks like it’s working! I’ve also made an attempt to hint more towards the “incredible” side of style if you’ve noticed. :wink:

Hopefully this’ll gain some attention…I’d really like to hear you’re opinions

Wow! Dare I say it? Blaze looks so cool! (yes, I was kinda reluctant to say hot :laughing: ) Anyways, I really love it Pixfan. I love the little profile you put with him. Absolutely amazing. Keep it up.

Just curious. Are you going to post up pictures of the ENTIRE Team Incredible? Or are you going to do one SUper at a time? Are you also making a story out with these characters? You got me a little into them now.

For right now…I’m just gonna re-introduce my 3 OC’s (Blaze, Twista, and Comic) One by one just so you get to know them a lil better.

Then, I’m gonna do a group shot. The ENTIRE Team Incredible. Colored n all (on Photoshop)
So yeah…pretty much…:wink:

I’ve got the idea for it already (the group shot). I’ve just got to make a final version and get to work on PS.

I’ve sorta got a story going on in my head…so I guess yea to that too. :-D)

Name: Sean Thompson

Super Name: Twista

Age: 23

Super Power: Amazing ability to manipulate wind/air
(even to the point where he can create tornadoes, hence the “super name”)

Costume: Very Aerodynamic. (all costume changes done by E.Mode) :wink:

Strengths: Very fast, his “ability” is naturally powerful.

Weaknesses: Not as strong (physically) as he would like himself to be, grew up in a villan centered society, so he has somewhat of a “villan turned hero” mentality.

I love the name Twista! I love the idea of him. Excellent job Pixfan. It looks incredible.

I’ve been seriously working on facial expressions lately, (along with establishing my own unique style) glad to see my hard work paying off…next dynamic poses…:wink:

Sighs Looks like I’ve fallen off this side of the earth once again. :unamused:

But with my '09 resolution set for more artwork. Things will definitely be taking a more lively turn!

StarSwordsman: I haven’t forgotten about the TEAM INCREDIBLE group shot. but I’ve put it on hold (due to school obviously). But no longer will the term ‘hiatus’ remain a staple on this thread because guess what…

I"M GETTING A TABLET!!! :-D)

I almost feel like I don’t even have to explain myself any further, my creative blocks and lack of confidence in completing ‘worthy’ artwork will slowly begin to fade.

Once I get a feel for it, I’ll be on a roll…:wink:
