Great balls of fire –
you only got out of school today? Gee whiz… 
Yea, we usually get out the first day of summer (still to long but I’m used
to that).
My week in school was pretty much free for all though. After finals were done (last week)
people just stopped comin to school period. Unfortunatley, my mother wanted me outta the house so I had no
choice, but I didn’t stay no longer than lunch-time (security ain’t that tight around therre ). People
brought in their game systems and that was the whole day (depending on how long you stayed ) That didn’t
entertain me long enough though, so today I was bored enough to play basketball in over 90 degree weather. I
tried to wait for my report card (they’re supposed to give them out the last day) but they "weren’t
ready". I ended up leavin around 11:30.
Talk about a nice long summer

Pixfan- Wow, a great picture there! I love the concept, and Remy looks great with shades on. 
Even the bundles of money have a really nice 3D quality about them. I would recommend colouring some parts a little darker, but I likr your colouring style of having darker outlines. Nice work!

I’m not a big fan of coloring, so I really cheated on this one, it was rushed so I could get it up here before the day was over. (got back in late) I almost wasn’t gonna color it period, but it was worth it. If I had more time, I woulda colored it way better than that.

The sig is nothing more than a picture of what I “wish” my summer would be like.
The only “vacation” I’m on is “summer vacation”, which’ll be over before I know it. 
Busy? Heh…I haven’t heard from my bball coach since the season ended (we usually start offseason practice in May) and I’ve yet to get a job (that I almost so desperatley need)…yea, i wouldn’t really call that busy. I was just having a busy day that day is all.

Aight folks here’s some new fan art! (like enough time hasn’t passed already…)
This is my submission to the PPdA July Contest! (earlier than expected LG ) :
I got a couple things to say about this piece-a-work though…
My critique- Once again a shotty coloring job; 1) because I don’t like to color much and 2), I had to get this in TODAY. Multi-character drawings in a new thing for me also so character’s didn’t come out a good as I hoped. Lastly, I kinda look at this as a downgrade compared to my other work and what I could’ve done with this pic.
Explanations:
Characters included- Linguini (1st time), Dash (1st time), Bob, Woody ( looks kinda outta character cause he’s not wearin his had and has shades on) ,Celia, Helen, Mike, Violet, Remy, Emile, and Flik.
(Sorry couldn’t find a proper place for Cars or Nemo characters…)
Pretty crazy scene I came up with herre…uh…well it seems like it was a boys vs. girls volleyball game going on when Bob lets his competitiveness get the better of him. Mike finds himself in the middle of the predicament (as always) and is sent flying when he and Bob both go for the ball when it was coming their way. Regretful for what had happened, he tries to assure himself through Linguini. Their dialogue goes somethin like this:
Bob: When he (Mike) comes down can you explain to him that it was an accident?
Linguini: chuckles Well yea sure, I mean if ever DOES come down…
Woody being ref, is giving bob a “I know you’re guilty” glare while Dash just sees the whole thing as hilarious as ever. Helen and Violet’s seen this side of Bob before and saw it coming and Celia just watches in amazement. Disaster seems promising when Remy is seen flying straight toward Mike, hurled by a runaway frisbee. (Heh at least he caught it! ) Finally in the background, Emile tries to take over the grill for Remy, the result…take a look.
Phew, I think that’s about it, in general, Semi-pleased with this pic.
Major note to self: I’VE GOT TO GET PHOTOSHOP!!!

Pixfan: oh my goodness, that summer pic looks really, really incredible. I will admit that I think that some of the characters could uses a little more work, but still, this is one, incredible summer pic you drew. Very, very nice.
Wow. It looks awesome, Pixfan! The anatomy skills could, as always, use a little work, but it’s a great piece overall! I love Celia’s expression and the burning grill in the backround.

Yea the anatomy problem’s are from pretty much rushing and not having references, the ususal. I drew this thing in like five days, inked it last night and colored it (with colored pencils) about two hours ago.
But my next pieces will surely make up for this though. I feel I really owe yall one.
