Post Your Toy Story Collection

We all have one, so I figure I’d take away some of the clutter from the Toy Story Collection and Replica thread by posting them here.

Here’s mine from 1995-present.

This is the main collection from my room.

Some other knick knacks.

And here’s all that’s stored in a trunk in my basement, mainly my older toys.

My newest edition is a 1st edition poseable pull-string Woody. Got him for $20. Not bad for something that goes for over $100 easily.

Like a real pull-string toy, the hoop and string are smaller, giving it a more genuine feel. There’s also other various differences (other than the obvious bendy wires), but they’re only minor.

Now, I still have a lot more stuff, but this is the general idea (I left out the plushies, movies, boxed toys in my attic, and miscellaneous items).

This is my Collection, i already posted it on the Replicas Thread but I’ll post it here too. Also if you didn’t notice Chatter Telephone he’s behind Buzz.

curious about the woody harmonica. Is that from TS2 or newer? Thanks

Thats new.

I noticed that this is movie is the only movie to have EVERY SINGLE character be made into a actual toy, with the exception of:

Mr. Potato Head,
Etch-a-sketch,
Speak-and-spell,
goggles,
toy soldiers (in the middle, the box is new),
monkeys in a barrel,
slinky (just the average slinky, not the dog)

??? please explain!!! Mr. P has been made into several toys. All of those are available as toys! I think by “goggles” you mean Lenny and he can be found but might not be acurate size

His wording is confusing but I think he’s saying after the movies release, not before. which, may or may not be true depending on what you consider a character. there were tons of toys in the movies that didn’t get toys in real life.

I would consider teen andy and Bonnie characters, are there toys of them? It would be awesome to have nice models of them that are somewhat poseable, that come together in a set with all the toys in a box!

Not as big as the ones I’ve seen, I’ve only been collecting for a few months though.

You can unscrew spud heads butt to takethat cord out

or you can just pull it out with no screw driver needed

I could be remembering wrong, but i thought his wouldnt come out unless it was unscrewed

You are corect. I had to look at mine since it had been awhile. Lotso and RC don’t need to unscrew anything

From Craigslist for $50, I got a boxed 1995 Buzz and Woody. Buzz is the sadly the second run however, the Woody was another 1st Edition one. He’s a different variation to the other one I have, as he doesn’t have the coupon for $4 off a Disney album on him (possibly older?). At this point, I’m still searching for the original, “yellow bar” Buzz, after I got jipped for one on Craigslist.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

My Mrs. Potato Head is still undergoing surgery - until I can find some modelling clay (they don’t sell sculpey in Australia) I’ve had to use the Hasbro-branded parts on her. There’s also a (VERY expensive) Totoro on its way, he should be here in 3-5 days so I’ll update when he arrives. They’re all TSC-branded ones as well (except obviously the DS plushies, Hamm and the Poof-Slinky branded Slink)

Sometimes when I’m bored I re-arrange their positions, just for fun. 8D

I still have a Great Shape Barbie to go and then I’m finished with my Andy/Bonny collection - that is until Wave 3 comes out. I’m thinking about starting on a Sunnyside group as well, although the thing is, I’ve only seen one or two TSC Lotso’s in store, and the rest of the group isn’t available in-store.

Here I go again again. Let me know if it’s too much

Here are some shots of my families collection:

Bullseye: Found at thrift shop. his hoof says he is from the Disney Store. I added the eyes, and I may give him a better saddle one day.
Jesse: non TSC one.
Buzz: Current Disney Store one, with added glow in the dark paint. I think this is the best Buzz ever, cause of all the features and Karate Chop action.
Woody: He freaks out if his hat comes off.
Woody’s Guitar: Found with Bullseye.
Weezy: Thrift shop find for 25 cents. says “Hasbro, 2004” on bottom. really squeaks.
Barrel of Monkeys: Blue Barrel painted Yellow.
Mr. Mike: one from my childhood. Everything still works like a charm. We actually have another one, but the tape deck is broke. (radio still works on the spare, though)

Bo Peep: Custom. I had the Thinkway Bo as a kid, but lost it through time. once, my 5 year old daughter stayed the night with my grandmother, and somehow found Bo’s clothes, and kept them. I found them while rummaging through her things months later. Anyway, this new Bo’s body comes from a Liv Doll, the head is a classic Barbie with originally sculpted hair.
Her Sheep: Sculpty heads, Wooden pieces ear puffs, fun foam ears, googly eyes, hot glue wool, model magic body, dowel rods for legs.
Troll: thrift shop find. painted the bikini on myself.
Mrs. Potato Head: Current Hasbro one. added earrings, eyebrows, and alternate eyes
8 ball: from my wife’s childhood.
Mr. Potato Head: Current Hasbro one. I prefer these over the Thinkway Potato Head because its the actual product as the original manufacturer envisioned it.
Ducky: Found in my kids things, I think…?

Evil Emperor Zurg: Buzz Lightyear by Hasbro body (Buzz was green and grey, and had a laser arm, ala Megaman), Cup skirt, Lego Zurg cannon and Clasp, Fun Foam Armor and cape, Bionicle fingers. He really does have a hole in his backside that allows Zurg vision!
Little Green Aliens: TSC ones. I saved up my rewards at Toys R Us and was able to get these guys for $2.15, though.

Rex: Thinkway version, 1995. From when I was a kid! All of his talk features are rusted out (and recently, I all-together removed the parts)
Lenny: Found at a Thrift store.
Rocky: Mattel version. got him for like $2 at Big Lots.
RC: From Burger King when the original movie was out. We are saving up for the TSC one, though.
Slink: TS3 version. Of course I removed the string from his face (decided to keep the other for now, though)

Hamm: Got him this last St. Patrick’s Day when the online Disney Store had a free shipping coupon (and, I think the first day they started carrying Hamm again). Right now, the money within him is being saved up for RC.
Bucket O Soldiers: Toy Story Collection.
Frontier Logs: Found at Thrift store.

Dolly: Disney Store version with added real eyes and yellow button (we hope to find similar buttons to the others soon)
Buttercup: Disney Store
Mr. Pricklepants: Disney Store
Peas-in-a-Pod: Disney Store. I got these for my daughters 1 year birthday and she LOVES them.
Totoro: Ebay, shipped from Hong Kong. Not exactly the one I wanted, but he gets the job done.
Trixie: Disney Store. I REALLY wish there was something a bit more accurate…

Barbie and Ken: TS3 versions. Barbie is always loosing those shoes around our house, but so far, has managed to always get them back.
Ken’s house: Found at Goodwill for $15. I think its from either 2001 or 2003. the batteries still work in it. we also refurbished it a little (IE trays in the fridge, touch ups throughout, added a lego-made shower head, etc)
Barbie’s Corvette: Antique Mall, $10

Stretch: Mattel version.
That Monkey: We found this at the same Antique Mall as Barbie’s car. he was in really bad shape (fur coming off, bad battery acid on pants, and none of his clothes were the right colors), we gave him some new fur, little touches of paint, my wife made him new pants, and tada!! good as new Evil Monkey! Alas, we recently put batteries into him and are sorry to report that he does not work anymore. We can move his head and he’ll bang his cymbals that way, though…
Baby: bought at a Flea Market. sucks that his arms and legs are really off, but he is pretty big.
Sparks: Thinkway.
Xylophone: Current one by Fisher Price
Blocks: Our baby got for her birthday
Twitch: Thinkway version with a custom staff I made myself.
Chatter Phone: current retro-looking one by Fisher Price. I have a friend that has a genuine wooden base version that says she’ll give me once her daughter gets rid of it.
Lotso: Disney Store Version. we’d like to have the Thinkway one, but he’s too much right now…
Chunk: Thinkway version.

Its a bit redundant to post your collection in so many threads. It was especially bad to post in in the “Toy Story Collection” thread, that one is specifically for toys from the actual Thinkway collection. You toys are great, but is looks to me that the only TSC toys in your collection are the aliens.

Its not a big deal though.

I think you misread, Reaper. This is the Post YOUR Collection Thread, so that the Replica/TSC threads don’t get too crowded, and there’s a proper place to post it.

Anyways, nice collection, strap3.0

That made me lol

I like what you did with Buzz, too. I think he’s underrated for the fact that he has all the features of the Toy Story Collection Buzz, and his helmet flips up and he can use his karate chop action with the wings (with lights). And the glow-in-the dark paint just completes it.

Its just that he’s posted the same pics in the Replica thread, TSC thread (which it really doesn’t belong in), and this one. This is the place that makes most sense to post it, but it really was not needed to post it in three different threads.

I’m sorry about all the posts. This thread is what I was going for. I guess when I was looking for it, I didn’t see it in the forum. I browse forums on my iPod.

Thanks for all the kind words, too.

And for the record, we have TWO tsc pieces, the aliens and the army men. Annnnd we hope to get rc on Friday.
