'Tis the season to be jolly…

Christmas Competition

The Theme- To create a piece of artwork based on Pixar characters dressed up in festive costumes!

Requirements-

It must contain at least one of the original Pixar characters dressed up as something to do with Christmas. They could be Santa Claus, a reindeer- it’s up to you!

It may contain some of your own characters, as long as there is a known Pixar character within the picture.

It can be created in any artistic form.

Characters from any of the Pixar films, or shorts, are allowed.

It must not contain any obscene references- keep it universal, please! Any explicientries will be ignored.

And that’s it! Be creative, and make sure you follow these dates and deadlines-

Dates-

Opening date: 4th December
Ending date: 31st December
Voting will begin: 1st January
Voting will end: 7th January

The winner will be announced in the first journal after the voting has ended.

Prizes-

The picture will be the club’s featured deviation until the next competition.
The winner will recieve a one month subscription.
The winner will be inducted into PPdA’s Hall of Fame.

Hmm. Interesting. Due to the fact that I’ll have some free time after my college semester ends – which is soon – …I just might whip something up…

Oh man, I really wanted to do this one too. :frowning: But I have too much work to do right now. Maybe I should submit the Christmas Toy Story pic I drew almost 10 years ago as a gag.

I don’t think I’ll enter, but it depends how busy I am. I have just finished one of my big personal projects and have lots of free time now, so if I’m bored I might whip something up. :wink:

I really should stay away from Ratatouille if I “do this thing”, especially considering the fact that I’ve been drawing too many Remy sketches lately. This might be harder than I thought… (snigger)

I keep saying I want to enter these things but I never have time. Nor can I usually think of anything clever. Maybe I’ll try and do this one though, once school is done (which would be tomorrow, since that’s when i’m taking my last final)

Well, I’m just finding out about this now. I wish I could enter but I’m so tied up with writing, and I haven’t got the slightest clue as to what I can enter. :stuck_out_tongue:

I really liked all four of the entries. My personal fav is tinyfishy’s picture. I didn’t vote since I don’t have a DA account, though.
