Presenting the John Lasseter Showboat Jubilee

Happened across this today. Photos of John Lasseter taking part in the Princess Tiana Showboat Jubilee at Disneyland. More photos from this thread on MiceAge.

Thanks for the link. JL looks like a happy child. There’d be no mistaking that Hawaiian shirt in a crowd. I looove those vintage outfits the ladies are wearing.

I wonder if the Hawaiian shirts are like his super hero costume. Then he puts on a plain white button down and suddenly he’s a mild mannered news reporter and no one bugs him for autographs and pictures.

JL is such a cool dude! He’s a genius and my hero in Pixar!

Yeah, I think he looks and acts more like himself in a Hawaiian-style shirts. My favorite are the ones with the old cars on it and the Route 66 signs. :sunglasses:

Speaking of cars, I noticed him wearing a Cars ball cap. He must really be proud of that movie.

Hurray for Hawaiian Shirt Man! Great he’s plugging Princess and the Frog, but nevetheless, he looks like he’s having fun! I wonder what’s with the ‘graduation robes’, though!

Following the link, the forum member who posted it is incredibly lucky, she even got time to get a second snap! I wonder what’s on the medallion round his neck, probably an event souvenir or something…

It’s the Tiana showboat jubilee. He’s on the Mark Twain riverboat dressed in choir gear.

The medallion looks like it has a Princess and the Frog logo. Would fit the Mardi Gras beads theme.
