Hello everyone gleefan1 here for another upcoming film!
Reacently, most people have been get twists on more classic storys, like Alice In Wonderland (2010) and soon Snow White.
Another film set for 2011 is Pride And Prejudice And Zombies!
Based on the book, it has a alternative, and I’m not talking the Jane Austin book, the parody book by Seth Grahame-Smith.
So is this any good? Do you like seeing twist on classics?
Is that the future insted of sequils?
Has anyone read P&P&Z yet?
Also theres a game based on the book for the iPhone and iPod Touch AUD: $3.99, sorry UK and USA iPhone and iPod Touch owners, it’s not out, but look for the book!
Let me know
Also, if you want the cover of the book, heres the link

Happy Posting :nerd: gleefan1

I read the book and it was awful. It’s basically the original novel with forced random zombie fighting scenes that the characters forget about after the fight is done and the story just goes on.

I read the book and, like TAMATER said, it was sort of forced. Some parts were funny, but on the whole, I didn’t like it as much as the original. I don’t have high hopes for the movie, but I’ll wait and see what happens.

Oh, and for anyone who liked the book, there’s another just like it called Sense and Sensibiltiy and Seamonsters, and another called Jane Slayre. If you’re interested

I love my classics, and so having read the originals I’m not sure quite how I feel about them being ‘butchered’, especially if it’s as forced as you guys are saying. A friend of mine has a copy of the book so I’ll probably give it a try at some point, but I’m not sure I have high hopes. As for the film, well, we’ll have to wait and see I guess!

I read it and enjoyed it for what it was. Sure, it wasn’t going measure up to the original, but that wasn’t the point. It was meant to be screwball and weird. Maybe its because I’m not a die hard Austen fan (I’ve read Pride and Prejudice, but that’s it.).

I don’t know about it being turned into a movie, though. I couldn’t see it, since it’ll be no doubt rated R, anyway. I just don’t know if the book could translate well into a movie.

I’m going to try and find the book for my camp trip  . Hopefully cure my boardem
