Hi folks,
We’ve been having issues lately regarding communication between members and admins and moderators.
First of all, please note that excessive PMs to admins or moderators, especially on issues we have already addressed or that are of a rude, demanding, or obtrusive nature is grounds for having your PM privileges revoked. It has already happened to one or more members.
If you have your PM privileges revoked, don’t press us. They will be restored in time but the more frequently you ask us about it (like more than once a week) the more frequently we will say no.
Second, no member is under any circumstances to send a PM on behalf of another member. Any PMs we receive in which the sender is not explicitly involved I am instructing members of our staff to completely ignore and delete. I’m tired of reading all the he said she said around here.
Finally, if you have any issues with the performance of a moderator you are to take it up with an admin… not confront the moderator. We’re the ones in charge, they just carry out our orders and if they ever overstep their bounds (which I have really yet to ever see seriously happen) we need to be the ones to handle it and not you. Again, if you have issues with moderators, don’t confront them, talk to an admin. Confronting a moderator over their job performance IS grounds for a suspension and even banning from the board.
Hopefully this will clarify things and make everyone’s life easier! =)
Happy Posting!
