A trip to Pixar studio for a day. Is it a good or a bad idea?

I’ve thinking to create [or someone else do it…lolz] The Official Wilderness Explorer Club worldwide to boost the fandom among Pixar’s fan.
Maybe the club can held annual activities whatsoever.
Or…
Maybe we could request a petition to visit Pixar studio someday?
Suggestions and opinions???
That’s cool! Maybe we could all go on a field trip to Upcoming Pixar Movies when they come out, since Up is out already.
I said no because I kind of feel like we should leave Pixar alone to their work, not ask for large groups of fans to visit the studio. It’s… not really any of our business, unless they invite us.
The club sounds cute though. Just not the part about petitioning Pixar to let fans visit just for fun.
Hog-Hug: maybe we could visit their studio when they have a special function or something like Pixarpalooza-like carnival/festival. 
Yeah that would be better. If you got your club-members to visit the studio on an open night. : D

I’m down with that. It’d be a bit odd to have a Pixar-wide group of fans dubbed after something from only one of their films, but seeing as I’m a huge Up fan, I’d be up for it. And yea, it’d be a bit troublesome for an entire group of people to request a gathering at the studio, considering their (mostly) closed door policy. If they ever do have another PixarPalooza, I would SELL MY CAR to go to it.
As for meeting for movie showings, it’d be a bit hard, considering how far apart everyone is (especially internationally) but once I’m on my own, I’d be happy to make the trek.
Good idea, I think I recall a proposition for a convention/gathering before for Pixar Planet, but I don’t think anyone’s actually working for it (yet,…). I’d be happy to help however I can, but I’m not really capable of doing much right now.
me too. that’s why we have to work together to work it out. who knows someday Pixar will give us the permission/special passes to attend their annual carnival/festival? Who knew…
That’s a bit hopeful, Pixar is a pretty strict company, and they cant really afford to go out of their way for stuff like that (besides PixarPalooza). They constantly work on films, usually on many stages at once, so the entire staff is constantly moving. They run like a clean and tight watch, so cutting into that would take something pretty miraculous.
There’s also the point of leaked info on their films. A lot of spoiler-seekers would want to sneak in, and that’s one of the biggest problems with studio tours (at least I think it would be). Not saying it’s not possible, but it would take a big amount of consideration on Pixar’s part to get something like that pulled off.
That would be nice. Travel wouldn’t be a problem for me, but I’d only go if Pixar felt like we weren’t annoying them to come inside.
Yeah, that’s the way I am about it. But WOW, if we could get in, I couldn’t imagine!
I’m quite sure that we will be like a small kid entered Willy Wonka’s factory. Without a doubt. lol
Hmmm yeah i love that idea! It could be like the “Pixar Girl/Boy Scouts of America” only we’d call it the Wilderness Explorers in honor of Up! There could be patches and even an Ellie patch to earn! I think that would be amaizing!

It’d be pretty awesome if we could get some sashes, but the badges in the movie look NUTS to hand make (if we were to do it accurately). I’d love to have all that swag, make an Up room in my house,

Heh, there’s no way my parents would allow me to travel overseas. They didn’t even bring me to the bordering islands, let alone America. So, unless you guys could like, send some sort of authority to escort/kidnap me to California, I could only stay by again, waiting for you guys to come back with your wonderful tales, once again not being able to travel anywhere across the border, stuck on this little island.
