I’'m just curious. When did that fish come in the
movie? I really don’t remember him.

During
Bruce’s “Step 5” meeting, he asked if the other sharks had brought their fish friends. Blenny was
Anchor’s friend, but he nervously swam away unseen seconds later.

PixarVixen - Yeah, I also listened to the Finding Nemo
commentary a ways back, and I didn’t hear them mention the name of that little fish either. Heaven knows where I
found out that his real name is “Blenny” – I knew I found it somewhere, being the Nemo geek that I am.
As a side note, the Blenny is actually a real species of fish; hence, the little guy’s name. (heheh)
The Star Swordsman - He is also to be seen at the very end of
Finding Nemo, after all the credits have rolled. He is the little fish who eats up
the Anglerfish. Goodness knows how he did that.
Nice work, PV! That expression on his face is almost
timeless.
lizardgirl - Uhh…thanks! Heheh – what did I do?
I think you meant
PixarVixen, no? She should get the credit.
PV: That’s really good! you make it look
so real! keep up the great work PV!
Edits post It
was because I was just on the other thread and I got confused!
lizardgirl - Haha – that’s alright.
PixarVixen - Will you be doing any more
Ratatouille sketches in the near future? Just a thought. I’m a little "rat
crazy" at the moment…
Mitch: I did not see that. I’ll have to watch it again.
The Star Swordsman - Yeah, you should. Have fun finding him.
Side-Note - Does anyone think that “Blenny” looks a little bit
like the alien from Lifted? For some odd reason, I can see a resemblence. Heh.
Mitch: I really don’t see any alien resemblence. But I see what you are
thinking. The eyes look kinda alienish (if that is a word).
Hey PV, you should draw what the new
Ratatouille character will look like that’s been talked about here:
New character in Ratatouille? (Spoiler)

The Star Swordsman - Yeah,
it’s the eyes. Heh – I don’t know why I see these certain similar…“characteristics” in particular
characters, even when they don’t make any sense. Maybe it’s that weird side of me that often comes out – heh.
I’m sorry I didn’t reply to your post sooner.
JV - Hey yeah,
that’s a good idea! I can already (sort of) imagine what he looks like…
Mitch: To be honest I really don?t know what he will look
like.
Mitch congratulations on you 1,000th post, hey that 2 people that have gotten there 1,000th post
today!
JV - I imagine him to have a similar profile to an
illustrated boy I read about once in a book entitled “I Was a Rat…”. The
boy in this particular book was depicted as wearing a red “street performer” uniform, with black hair
and a puzzled expression. Trust me, it is the weirdest book I have ever read; I didn’t even finish it, it was so
weird…
Off-Topic: Thank you, JV! Wow – I didn’t even know that I earned
1,000 posts until you mentioned it.
Soon I’ll have plenty of time to finish my
For The Birds picture and to begin my Joe Ranft drawing. Until then, I won’t have
much art to post up.
I can promise a few teenage Dash sketches later today, though.
~~=oP
PixarVixen - Heheh – take your time. I can’t wait to see those Dash pictures, by
the way.
Did I hear something about a Dash sketch? Oh PV, I
definetly can’t wait.
You heard right, TSS. But something went wrong at home tonight and I didn’t have
extra time to do my sketches. I’ll have them up later. I swear.

I did a few teenage Dash facial
expressions. No
biggie.

The face on the top was meant to be part of a full drawing of Dash, but oh
boy…I need to practice my male anatomy.
I might have some more stuff up
later.
