Mitch, you are ALWAYS rat crazy. 
However, I am currently Dash
crazy, so I’ll be drawing him for a while. I’m using him for practice.
A good friend of mine told me
that “Whatever you are is what you can draw the best”. I’m a girl, so drawing women is easy, but
drawing men isn’t.

Speaking of Dash crazes, I am finally
going to draw that Dash picture you have been waiting
for…tonight. I have put this off for far too long; it’s time I kept my promises. (Got those two phrases from
movies – heh.)
I like your good ol’ friends’ saying: "Whatever you are is what you can draw
best." Interesting. So, in other words, draw to your strengths, your best ability. I like that…
Heh. Well, it’s
not like that.
I can draw women easily because that’s what I see in the
mirror everyday. I’m familiar with my body, so I know every curve, shape, and form. Does that make
sense?

Here’s my first full body sketch of teenage Dash. I drew him in his
super suit to show off his muscles. How does he

I love his arms, the legs are okay, and I haven’t decided whether or not I like his
upper body. I’m still workin’ out the kinks.

I don’t like the upper body, truth be told. He seems a
little too, well, ripped. Speedsters in that cartoony style should be a little more wiry and lean.
Dash told me he was too skinny
at first. As I recall, he said, “He has his sister’s waist”, although he wasn’t
that skinny.

The waist is fine. It’s the shoulders I think are too
well defined. If you tone that back a bit, he’ll be great!
Not that he isn’t great already.

And yes, you better be excited…because I didn’t even start on it last night! slaps self I was so
tired that I only realized that I forgot to do the sketch once I was almost asleep in the bed. However, I
will do it today. I’m full of energy. I will do it!

the way. Unfortunately, I happen to agree with RMS in that his upper body (in the second sketch) is a little bit
“off balance”, for some reason. Other than that, both drawings are great!

PV: I hate to say it, but as soon as I saw that drawing
of Dash, I immediately thought of the Tony, Dash, and Mr. Incredible all mixed into one. Yep, I kinda see a Tony
in that Dash drawing.
