PV's fan art ~~=oP

I love your Edna Mode drawings PV!!!

Here is a redesign of Edba Mokiba with 3 legs.

Edna Mode doesn’t have a sidekick, so I gave Edba a third leg to cover up for the absence of an Experimentals version of Pleakley.

I really like that Cutie style version of Edna, PV!

PixarVixen - Haha – that one is cool, PV! I like it even more than the last one…

First off, once again, excellent job! I love it.

Second, I am going to request something. Can you post your Holiday pic please? I know the holidays have past, but we were so excited to see it. I think you should. It would be wrong to leave your fans hanging, you know.

Thanks, guys. I’ll see what I can do about the holiday drawing…and I hope you all get the joke.

For lizardgirl’s avatar contest over at Pixar Planet dA, I made an LGM (little green man) version of deviantART’s mascot “fella”.

Then I used him to make 2 avatars.

I can’t decide which one I like. :~o

~~=oP

Well PV, if I had to choose, i would go with the LGM on the left. He has a full body.

I think I’ll have to agree with The Star Swordsman and say that the one on the left looks a little more “adequate” for the PPdA avatar. But they’re both adorable, PV.

Oh that is cute! I like the one on the left too, also because it’s a full body.

So you guys favor the avatar on the left, eh? I’d like that one if it wasn’t for the club name abbreviation. I had to shrink it so it would fit, but it’s too tiny.

Having “Pixar Planet dA” or “PPdA” on the avatar is a requirement, but I think the LGM fella by itself would be just as effective. People who know about Pixar Planet and Radio Pixar have assimilated the LGM with both sites and they’ll make the connection with Pixar Planet dA.

PV- Although it’s true that it is stated in the rules of the competition that somewhere on the logo, the abbreviation must be included, but exceptions can be made since, in this case, the LGM would already be associated with Pixar Planet. You see, with other possible entries, some people might have included random pictures of Pixar, so there was nothing to relate the club back to Pixar Planet, but if you want to remove the initials and submit the new version, that’d be fine.

PixarVixen - And to add to lizardgirl’s response:

Not to mention, people will want to know exactly what the name of the club is; henceforth, just the logo itself might not be as effective as one with the “PPdA” signature on it.

But hey – don’t fret! The things are still cute. You did a great job.

On the mascot, shouldn’t there be the letters PPDA somewhere?

On the avatar, it would be illegible.

~~=oP

No, I am talking about the big picture of the mascot.

Oh. Then yes. LOL I’ll edit him if my avatar wins.

~~=oP

Mitch - actually, my point was that it was fine for PV to remove the initials if she preferred.

lizardgirl - Ohhh…I see. Oops – heh. I have the weirdest feeling that PixarVixen and I are the only ones to have submitted avatars for the contest so far. Maybe it’s just me? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, the club is still very small now. Having an icon will make it a little more professional, so to speak, and with more general gallery submissions, hopefully there will be more interest.
