Question about posting links to goods

I read over the Rules page and the FAQs but I didn’t find anything covering this.
What is this communities attitude to posting links to Pixar-related goods? (be it from an auction site or online store.)

I’ve been on some forums that frown upon posting them, so I wanted to check before angering anyone or going against the forum rules.

Well, I’ve seen plenty of people post pictures of Pixar merchandise and that sort of thing, so it should be alright, but don’t quote me on that.

NickyTea - Posting links and/or pictures to/of Pixar-related merchandise is acceptable here on Pixar Planet. The main things we’re strict about here on this site include these:

1. Selling Pixar merchandise for your own personal gain so as to make a profit.

2. Posting up an image, video, or a link showcasing a bootleg copy of a Pixar feature film or short film, and by this I mean publicly displaying a video* of a Pixar production that has not yet been released on DVD or Blu-Ray.

  • This particularly includes videos of Pixar films that people have captured with their video camera(s) while watching that film in a theater.

So, yes, to answer your question, I’m pretty sure that you may post links to (or pictures of) Pixar merchandise and goods, including auction sites and online stores, as long as you do so in a legitimate fashion. People have done it before, so you should be able to, as well. :wink:
