The second we got out of the cinema today, all of my friends were quoting that robot from WALL-E when he [spoil]sees these tracks and says ‘Wrong!’[/spoil] It’s just so funny, and I think it might just be the quote that I take from the film and use in every day life. ![]()
OMG! I have so many lines! and you know what’s scary? I’ll just say a line automatically, then I’ll think, “what’s that from?” It’ll take me like 5 minutes or so then I’ll remember! I think my brain automatically stores every quote I hear! ![]()
wallerat: That happens to me once in a while. ![]()
Just for fun, when my sister was naming teddy bears, I said., “We’ll name this half Marlin junior and this half Coral junior. OK we’re done.”
lol thats funny id do that if only i didnt name them each a name lol
I have a friend who just randomly screamed Ka-chow when we went out to go go-karting one day.
lol thats funny was the go kart red? lol
The one I was riding was red, but the one my friend was driving was blue.
lol it was kinda backwards then
True, but we all got caught up in the racing moment.
My sister and I quote both Pixar and non-Pixar films all day, every day, and have been doing so for the past… ohhh… decade or so…? Yes, we’re nuts. (snigger)

Could you give an example of the nuttiness? ![]()
The Star Swordsman - Ha-ha! Well, I suppose that I could give a small example:
My sister and I wake up in the morning, walk by each other, and spontaneously mutter, “Wazuuuup?,” under our breath. We laugh. That line of dialogue was taken from a commercial we saw years and years ago, yet we still quote it now and again…
Several hours later, while playing a video game and hopelessly losing, one of us groans, “Ohh, come oooon. Stupid antenna,” the last two words being added on to remind us of a quote from “The Iron Giant”…
Upon eating dinner, my sister spots a curious object in her salad, and proceeds to mumble, “What… the… heck…,” which were the same words uttered by a little kid on Animal Planet’s now-extinct show, “Animal Kidding”.
Night is upon us, as is the hour of slumber, yet before we depart for our separate bedrooms it is necessary to quote one of our favorite lines from “Stuart Little”: “Well goodnight. Sleep tight! Don’t let the bed bugs bite… I’m serious about those bed bugs. Keep an eye open.”
Morning dawns upon the horizon, and my sister and I awaken from our rooms once more, meet in the hallway, and heartily state, “Oh…! Hi… Buzz!” If all goes well, we may end up quoting a good portion of the film…
Voila´! A day goes by, and the whole thing starts all over again… ![]()

I just realized I quoted a something from Pixar’s Toy Story 2. I was playing video games with my brother and I asked him to to get to this one area without getting slaughtered by a lot of bad guys. He told me" “there is a way. The secret is to the left, hidden in the (invisble wall).” Same one Rex said to the other Buzz.
TSS: Was that quoted for fun or did the video game really have that secret passageway?
When my friends and I played cards, at one moment I found myself saying “That’s stealing” then my friend replied (quoting Ratatouille) “It isn’t stealing if no one wants it” which was true, since the object of the game was to get rid of your cards. Then I added another quote “If no one wants it, why are you stealing it?” (Off by one word).
A little bit of both. There was a secret entrance, but they way it kinda went out sounded exactly like Rex’s.
Mitch, we seriously need more of your posts on Pixar Planet. Nine thousand just isn’t enough. ![]()
apparently i AM Dory! especially if i say ‘can i help you?’
but i always quote Crush - ‘DOOOOOD!’ ‘Cha’ ‘Fin…Noggin’…Doooood!’
love it!
but i love Wall.E saying Eve! i say that quite a lot! ![]()
bright dot-dasher - Ha! That’s great. ![]()
