If you’re talking about the bloopers, I don’t think they were silly enough!
Bottomline, it was very funny and the more fun you
guys had, the funnier.
I finally got to listen to the podcast over the weekend
(great time filler if you ever catch a four hour train ride). Needless to say it was fabulous. You just keep
geting better and better ;D
Also, I dunno which of you girls said it during
the birthday-reel-moment, but you pronounced my name right. Definantly made me smile since people do not usally
get it right when I pronounced it to them.
I didn’t even now there
was a new episode until I got on my iTunes and saw that it was downloading. What a great surprise!
I
really enjoyed this episode! And some of the news was totally new to me, since I’ve been busy with art school
stuff. I finally saw the official Ratatouille trailer, thanks to your show!
I really enjoyed the
Cars in-depth discussion; you made an excellent point, Dash, about the real “brain” of the car being
the kind of person who would own it.
This new format works very nicely. And kudos to you for reading
all of those birthdays! You really go that extra mile to make forum members feel
special!
Great job! Looking forward to the next one!
P.S. - Aggie, I hate hearing my voice in
playback, too I think you have a nice voice!
Actually BG, that
was me. Haha.
~~=oP
Haha! I honestly don’t know who is who in some of the parts. Who said "I’m getting
drunk off all this fuuuuun"? If it was me, I seriously don’t remember that. looool!
…because you were “drunk”? Maybe
it was you.
~~=oP
Oops! Well… can’t work my way around that!!
Cheh – you guys are nuts.
I agree with Mitch on this one. You’re style of humor
is apparent even when you guys are not on the podcast.
I wish
I was as happy as you guys. I sounded monotonic.
Really? Heh, I never noticed. You sounded good TSS. Be proud of it!
Next time, I’ll sound better.
The Star Swordsman - Haha – you remind me of Gazerbeam. Consider that I
compliment.
But I don’t like my monotonic sound. It sounds so
boring. I’ll change it.
Since I got a new computer recently, I
finally listened to Radio Pixar podcast #5: Finally Five!" last night.
It’s great to listen to while surfing the web. The technical diffuculties took away from the show a bit,
but computers can be annoying like that, and the effort was there so you can look past them.
The use of
the background music was awesome, and so was the quotes from the movies, like before the trivia section for
example. And I never realised how beautiful the Finding Nemo music is.
I like how
Dash says “y’all” at the beginning. TSS: you
have a really nice voice, I didn’t think you sounded monotonic, but if you wanted to use more expression in your
voice it would work well for radio. AJ you have a cool voice, too. You sound like
typical American guys, LOL. =)
The girls (PixarVixen and
Aggie) are naturals at radio, and giggled a lot.
Even though the news is a
bit old by now, well Pixar news moves fast, I liked how you addressed the issue of international release dates.
=) I pronounce Wall.E the same as you guys, so that’s good.
I would be willing to contribute to the show
in some way, but I make home movies of my own (which is why I understand how much effort something like Radio
Pixar takes), so that takes up most of my time. I’ll have to think about that.
Give yourselves a pat on
the back. I’m looking forward to podcast #6!
Questions:
- Do you
guys take song requests? Like a song from a Pixar soundtrack? 'Cause I have a few songs that I would love to
“request” if you are interested"… =)
- So how do you record the show? Are you guys/girls
all in the same studio? or is it a case of clever editing?
- Does anyone from Pixar listen to your
show? You could probably find out by their IP…
For
now, we use the podcast to spread the latest Pixar news and chat about forum stuff. We hope to develop Radio
Pixar as we become more familiar with it, and we’re open to suggestions. However, I think we’re limited to how
long we can make each episode. Dash can explain.
Feel free to request a
song, though. Perhaps we can play it as background music.
Recording is tricky because we all live in different
states. We use a program called Skype to communicate and get the job
done.
We have
confirmed listeners from
Emeryville.

Check the second post and see for yourself.

PV - Hehe, I was wondering why almost all the episodes are the same length. Well,
you guys do great work so I shouldn’t complain.
Well, I finally got an
iPod and I finally tuned into this. Took me about five hours for my laptop to load it, and I’m still not done
listening to it. ^^ I hope to load the earlier ones … but that’ll have to wait until I get a Mac. I don’t
want my laptop to explode.
They’re really cool! xD Makes me wanna be a part of it! Or at least have my
username mentioned lol.
I’m with FONY. I wouldn’t mind being a part of it, too. =) So if the Pixar Planet Podcast needs any additional content, you know the girls to call! =)
