Now
as many of you lot know that I haven’t seen the film, so I have this question: How many times (colours included
would be great) has Ramone had a new paint job?

as many of you lot know that I haven’t seen the film, so I have this question: How many times (colours included

Ramone has five different paint jobs in the movie:
All Green
3. All Yellow
4. (During the Flashback) Red, with white round his lower areas.
5. All
Red
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the
info!
The purple flame job is my personal favourite.

I dunno why but anything but purple,
Ramone looks odd…
When I first saw him in yellow, I thought he was a new character.

Ha – I know. ![]()
lizardgirl: I agree.
He looks great in purple! ![]()
I don’t know if they’d shown any of his paint jobs other
than purple in any of the promotional stuff before the film came out, I don’t think they did, plus it was the
paint job he had when he first appeared, so those two aspects combined have made it so that people tend to
consider his purple paint job his “default,” if you will. Even in the video game, Ramone has that
paint job when you’re playing in the Explore mode (or whatever the mode’s called, the drive-around mode).
They did show Ramone in yellow in a pic on the website.
I played the game (PSP
version) where I can race him with different paint jobs & again, he looks odd…
Well, it’s the same when Lightning gets those new, white
tyres. They always seem to look weird to me, but that’s just because we’re used to him having his racing
tyres.
I
thought that Lightning’s white tires looked beautiful on him.
But yeah, it was a little odd…
Us
humans naturally have this tendency to picture one character’s features (color, personality, etc.) as their main
characteristics – they are their true selves, so to speak. Once something about
that character changes, it feels like the world has gone wack. ![]()
When did Lightening get new tyres? As in for what
occasion…
When
Lightning was helping everyone in the town somehow, in this case, getting new tires over at Luigi’s.
Helping the town? What, near the end of the
film?*
After
Lightning finishes paving the road, he decides to buy stuff from all the townsfolk, seeing as they haven’t had
regular customers in years… From Luigi, he buys whitewall tires.
Does that
help?
Yep. Much more detailed than I would’ve wanted (I was
expecting “after her paved the road…” response…)
Here’s another question, what do they use
for money? i.e. a bolt?
Hmm, that’s a point…I’m not
sure. Did they ever actually show any money transactions in Cars?
Money transactions? Nope. Not that I recall. I suppose
they would use bolts, like you suggested, Marty17. In my sister’s Put-Put Enters the
Race game, the cars recycle old bottles in return for solid gold cash. ![]()
That’s what gets me, how do cars pay money? Or what does their money looks like…
Bolts or lug nuts
might be (in ‘Cars’ World) the currency.
