That’s pretty cool! And actually, you would have to eat something liquidy (like soup)
quite a few times to get sick from the toxic glaze. Heh. Just a tidbit for you. ![]()
Awwww… take all the fun out of warning people not
to eat out of it why doncha ![]()
Nice
glaze. Finally finished hehe. Good work.
That looks great! I’d feel too guilty
eating out of it anyway, I’d just want to admire it! ![]()
Beautiful! Randall would be proud.

Thanks everyone! I
might do a mug version. I’ll be able to put more detail into it, since I won’t have to worry about sophmoric
school kids ruining it (hence the fronds being flat against his head on this one
).
Try making a plate and untensils to make a set.
Hehe utensils will be a problem, but the plate doesn’t sound
like a bad idea ![]()
Well in terms of
untensils, it would probably be like a coil design on the handle.

Yeah, the problem it that I’m a klutz with small figures

Oh I’m terribly sorry I took out the fun of warning
people… I hope I can get some forgive…ness…? I made a plate back when I did ceramics. We did a throw plate
I believe where… I think you flatten clay into a circle a bit bigger than the heavy duty paper plate you will be
using for the mold. Then You just hold the plate with clay placed on it and just drop it a few times. It just has
to be brought up 1-2 ft when you drop it. After a few drops the clay should be nicely nestled in there. ![]()
Then you can wait for it to dry up a bit and then do what ever carvings or decorations you want!
This is a
rather easy way of making a plate but I’m sure you’re skilled enough to do other versions!
Wow. Thats cute! =D

Oh that’s alright! I’ve never made a plate, so your meathod sounds like a
good way to start!
Ohh thank goodness… you
know I was afraid for a moment there I would be sent to live with the Underminer for ruining your fun… ![]()
But yeah. With this method you are pretty much guarenteed not to get a squishy looking plate heheh…
Wow!! That’s cool!
Thank you! And I love your avatar by the way ![]()
that’s really cool! I stink at pottery/ceramics so i’d never be able to do that. Why didnt I ever think to do
something like that in any of my art classes?
