I’ve noticed that a lot of his songs have a bouncy tune to them. But I like songs like that, so I don’t really care. :slight_smile:

It is pretty similar, but different enough. With Randy Newman it just doesn’t matter. Even though these songs happen to be similar, he does have many different styles. Losing You, for instance. Also, We Belong Together is a completely different composition, even though it has the same overall theme of You’ve Got a Friend in Me. Go Randy.

Any compositions written and performed by the same man are going to sound similar. But I think they have enough similarity.

Wow the 2 songs sound almost identical just diff lyrics.If you put both lyrics to both songs next to each other they have the same pauses and well to make this short same song diff lyrics if you ask me.
