Only reason Dreamworks ranks the lowest is because their quality tends to vary more frequently. DW at their best ranks VERY high, however.
Oh yeah, I forgot about them. I’ll rank them once they make more movies, it’s hard to place when they’ve only made one so far.
Depending on how one defines “animation studio,” Illumination Entertainment might not qualify given it’s a production company that outsources the actual animation.
Also, just curious, as some folks have listed “Universal”…does that mean the material listed in the following link?

Heheh, that’s fine IV, I almost did that too despite how much I love them. 
I think it’s because we’re listing mostly American studios, which is why they didn’t come to mind as quickly.
- Disney (When you have as many great films as Disney does you deserve the top spot, they’ve stumbled in recent years though)
- Pixar (Why do you think every time a good animated movie comes out by another studio critics say its like Pixar?)
- Illumnination (Based only off of Despicable Me, which was fantastic)
- Aardman (Same as above, but based off only Chicken Run)
- DreamWorks (Prolific but inconsistent, Can be downright amazing or downright awful)
- Blue Sky (Has produced 2 good films, but they keeping milking the Ice Age Franchise with bad sequels and Robots was bad)
- Sony (Sigh Open Season… Surf’s Up was good!)
- Nickelodeon (Sigh Barnyard… Jimmy Nuetron was very good!)

I’m glad to see not everyone is biased against Dreamworks. They still have a fair share of duds I think, but the stronger ones overpower the bad ones.
I agree. I wish there was more love and objective viewing around here. 
Just a hint: Neither TS3 or HtTYD is the Messiah, or the AntiChrist. They are both movies. The end.

- Either Disney or Ghibli, its hard to decide. Disney for nostalgia and sheer quantity of films, or Ghibli for its consistent high quality.
- Blue Sky (for Horton Hears a Who, I haven’t seen Rio yet)
- Dreamworks (though I really only care for Shrek, Megamind, and maybe KFP)
- ILM, Rango was fantastic, and they would be higher but I’ll have to wait to see what they follow up with.
