Yep, the only thing I didn’t like was it’s final 15 minutes. I actually have one of those Happy Meal toys of Puss in Boots that’s my cousins.
Cool, well ours look cute :3. We’ve just finished Tintin, so I wonder if the US will do that after Puss In Boots.
I collect the toys. Since i’ve worked here we’ve had Rio, KFP2, The Smurfs, Johnny Test and Tintin…and I have most of them ^^
Probably not since we currently have the mixed gender toys.
I stopped getting Happy Meals years ago. Don’t even eat Mcdonalds really anymore.
Back on topic, to an extent, whats the worst animated film you’ve seen this year? Mars Needs Moms was pretty awful imo, despite a decent score by John Powell.
I haven’t seen anything that disappointed me except for Cars 2. I’m not counting the two minutes of Gnomeo and Juliet I saw since I haven’t seen the entire movie.
Happy meals are not the same they used to be, specially since Disney dropped McDonald’s deal, in fact disney’s latest happy meal toys to be promoted by McDonald’s were from the Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises,
1.Rango
2. Arthur Christmas
3.Cars 2
Gnomeo and Juliet is the worst movie I saw this year.
^Oh, I completely forgot about that! Eh, I thought it was okay, nothing interesting…probably second to last on my list.
Never saw it. Didn’t interest me.
I didn’t even bother with it as the commercials and trailers didn’t catch my interest.
It was also the same for me for The Smurfs.
I don’t class The Smurfs as an animated film (although that was terrible too)
Why it’s been submitted into the “Animated Feature” category is beyond me.
I don’t classify The Smurfs to be an animated the film either since most of it is live-action.
And to just think their’s gonna be a sequel.
Oh jeez, that film could’ve been decent without the Americanisations and the awful script and weak story and poor execution. Why do we need a sequel?
I saw the trailer (again) for the new Alvin film. Dear God…
I never saw the orginal Alvin. I grew up with rhe cartoon from the 80s/90s so I like them hand drawn, maybe I rent it one day.
The first one is watchable, but the second is horrifically bad. It’s like a bad DreamWorks film, full of pop culture garbage. Having said that, I never watched the original cartoons, so I’m not really in a good position to judge.
Maybe I’ll watch the movie one day. The caroon was good. It was no Emmy award show but it was good. It aired on Cartoon Network. You can find clips on Youtube.
