sharpie-Heh,
you’re lucky, I can’t find it anywhere. I’m so impatient, I can’t just wait for a movie.
sharpie-Heh,
you’re lucky, I can’t find it anywhere. I’m so impatient, I can’t just wait for a movie.
Heh, heh, lucky person you. Hopefully, I won’t see any
of those books before I see the movie. I must get the full experience of it.
Oh, man, I need to complete my collection of “Art of” books. I’ve been looking around local
bookstores to catch a peek at Art of Ratatouille, but I haven’t seen it yet. I plan to buy it on Amazon
soon.
PV and TSS- Hehe, I am weak, I can’t help myself! ![]()

Mitch,
Annoying Person, and TheIncredible[/b]- I bought the art books at Amazon. If you buy them together,
you save about $16, but they have the Junior Novel at Wal-Mart for about $4. Go crazy! ![]()
Welp, I finally bought the dang
book…
I must say that I was absolutely entranced from the moment I turned the first page…
Something about this particular book just makes me thirsty for eye-candy, because the
trinket itself is certainly full to the brim with it. But it’s not just about the tasty treats hidden within its
pages: it’s about the entrancing story behind it; the characters imprinted within the pages, each with their own
unique design and history; the delicate balance of color and depth that makes this classical masterpiece so
appealing and delicious, both to the eyes and the mind…
Detail: Pure
detail. It is mainly what caught my senses as I traveled from the countryside of France, to the cavernous sewers,
to the lustrious and eye-catching fragrances of the continuously fanciful delights of Paris – wonders that
seemed to dance like chili peppers on a hot pan over the stove. Inspiration was everywhere and on every page: in
the characters; within the plot; among Gusteau’s kitchen; in the musty sewers; along the walls. Each page I
turned was reminiscent of opening a treasure chest of imaginative ideas and wonderings…
Seriously, I
can’t…get…enough of this book. The character designs and
sculptures…
[spoil]…especially for those of Remy’s mom,
Desiree…[/spoil]
…are just…maginificent and fantastic beyond expectation. The concept art
is beautiful, the backstories and personalities of each individual character are intriguing, and the effort
itself that these people put into studying how to construct the story and in making the book are absolutely
delicious.
My compliments to the creative team behind this film. I have fallen in love
with this book and its characters, plot, and details. You make a rat look good…

sharpie - Thanks for the tip, by the way!
Unfortunately, it’s too late for me to change now. I couldn’t wait a second longer
and bought the book at Borders for $40.00. There goes my money, but it was worth it.

I think it is nice to see what to expect before the
movie, but I will do my best to resist the temptation of looking at the Art of Ratatouille book.
I just got the movie novel today! ![]()
I’m going to read it later,
though, cause I still need to finish the first Harry Potter.
You are not going to
wait until after you watch the movie?
I’m gonna try not to spill anything… ![]()
The cover is neat, it has Remy
against a Paris background.
Good for you, Annoying! ![]()
AnnoyingPerson95 - Awesome! Have fun reading it. (heheh)

So I went to a local bookstore today in the hopes of locating a
Ratatouille book that I have wanted to buy for some time, when I came upon not one,
not two, but a whole collection of Ratatouille-related paperbacks: storybooks;
coloring pages; sticker books; and more…
But you want to know what the prize toy in the collection was?
It was this Ratatouille storybook that, in basic concept, tells the whole plot-line
of the film in general. I did not read the ending or
buy the book, mind you, but I do know…a few more spoilers now. (snigger)
Wow mitch! I thought you would. You said you
wanted to know the whole movie before it ever came out.
The Star Swordsman - Haha – actually, I do know the
whole movie now, thanks to sharpie (thanks, sharpie!).

Go to the “Spoiler” thread in the Ratatouille section of the
boards. ![]()
Thanks, but i am a smart guys. I can hold it.
Are you saying that I’m not smart? ![]()
Mitch-
You’re welcome, I’m sorry I spoiled it for you. Those books you mentioned sound cool, but unfortunatly, the
nearest Disney Store is and hour and a half away. ![]()
sharpie - Oh no, it’s all
on me! I’m the one who chose to read it. ![]()
Aw man – it seems like I’m the one who lives the closest
to a Disney Store. They really should build some near to you guys!
Hehe - except for me
Mitch. =P
Dash
Puh-ha! I practically live IN one
and yet I’m still not there enough (seriously I need more hours to pay my bills).
It’s one of the closed
up ones with all the animated statues and such.
Dash - Do you get discounts
on the merchandise? (snigger) ![]()
Ahh – so it’s one of those scary, yet cool-looking, ones. Awesome.
