Ratatouille - Official Opening day

So anyone else waiting

until Friday June 29th like me for Ratatouille? Or did you guys all see the Sneak Peak?

I’ll probably

end up seeing it on Saturday. Looking forward to this one, actually I have been itching to go to the movies

I am guessing Mitch will see it again at the theatres

Welp, I saw the thing on June 16, during its "sneak

peek" premiere/presentation. I must say, it was beautiful beyond comprehension…

And yep! I’m

gonna see it the second it hits theaters in my area!

Well I’ve seen the movie 2 times already, and you bet I’m going to see it again.

I’ve seen 1 time but I’m going to watch it again on Friday!!!

From what I have heard, everyone who has seen it at the preview is going to go

see it again, and taking their families and friends with them. This is a very good sign. I hope they make good

numbers this weekend, and Ratatouille’s preview screenings pay off. =)

I am going to see t one day after opening day.

I’m seeing it the first

day it comes out, I’m not going to wait for a day or two. And I might see it just once on opening day.

I might see it twice. One with my firends, he other with my family.

I think I’m gonna see it two or three times. The first time I hope it’s going to be on the

day after its release here, and I believe I’m gonna watch the English version with subtitles. The other time,

I’m gonna watch the dubbed version.

You guys are too much  I’ll see it this

Sat or Sunday. I would have seen Cars a second time at the theatres but that would have led to a third and

potentially fourth time, in which you could have just bought the DVD and watched it as many times as you

like.

It’s really encouraging that lots of people who saw Ratatouille at the previews is

going to see it again- it’s like doubling Pixar’s profit, in a way! The previews thing was a great idea, it

seems.

Did Ratatouille

make a profit off of the advance screenings? Or were those free?

Anyway, I’ll be seeing it Friday night

with friends, then hopefully at least one more time in theaters (probably with my family).

Shark Bait - Oh, it made a

profit all right! $7.50 per adult, and that was just in my area alone. :stuck_out_tongue:

Going with a few peeps to see this on Saturday

Just one more day! I can’t take it anymore!

I know seriously!!!

I’m so excited for you Americans! Tell your friends to see Ratatouille this weekend!

anyone else know that Brad Bird wasn’t on board from the get go? I heard in an interview that they had all of the rats wallking on their back two feet and with had shorter tails. He changed that though as you’ll find out.

Just two hours and fifty-eight minutes left, people! Get your ovens ready!!

rachel - Believe me, I’ve been spreading the word like wild fire. Not one person who knows my name doesn’t notice my love for Ratatouille. (snigger)

Tagatouille - If you are referring to Brad Bird’s initial response to the film, then yes. He did, indeed, arrive on the scene rather late in the game. Jan Pinkava was the original founder and director of the film, until Mr. Bird came in to “tweak things up” a bit.

So all of the rats used to walk on their hind feet? How interesting. I’m glad they changed that. Heh.

I’ve known about Brad Bird’s later involvement with the film.

Hey Tagatouille, was the interview you heard the same one I heard on Fresh Air yesterday afternoon?
